We are hoping to eat at LeCellier but our DGD will be not-quite-3. Would she be inappropriate to take there? We would not want to spoil anyone else's experience; she is very well-behaved, sits in her seat until meal is finished (or is escorted out by an adult) and eats anything we place before her. Your thoughts?

You DGD will be fine :)

We took our DD there a couple months after she turned 2.
There was also an infant (slept whole time) seated at table next to us.

Have a great time! Le Cellier is one of our favorites!

Le Cellier, while nice, is not overly formal/quiet. We took our then 4 and not quite 2 year old boys on our last trip and it was fine. It's a great restaurant, enjoy!

Cdrn, she'll be fine. With the exception of Victoria & Albert's, I would not hesitate to take either of my children, DD3 1/2 & DD1, to any dining establishment. As a matter of fact, we ate at Le Cellier, with both kids, back in September. The older one was a perfect lady & the little one fussed the WHOLE time (teething). We took turns carrying her outside. Other diners around us told us to not wory about it; as they'd all been through it with their own children.

Enjoy your meal!! The bread assortment rocks & we love the cheese soup!!

Happy Dining

We took our dd age 2 and we didn't have any problems. Enjoy it!!! I highly recommend the cheese soup with pretzel bread, mushroom filet and maple cream brule.

You MUST order the chocolate Moose for her - we took our two year old last May and it was wonderful - it's a very noisy restaurant and very child friendly. One of our favourites - have a blast!

We're taking our DD who will turn 3 during our trip to Le Cellier. Our kids are like yours..very well behaved (rarely, but it happens, we take them outside if there's a problem.). Like someone else said..V & A is the only place you can't take kids. Take them and enjoy!!

If only more people were like you! So often children throw temper tantrums, or yell, or run around and their parents do nothing!

As long as you remove her if she acts up (which it doesn't sound like she does much of :) ), I can't imagine anyone being upset.

Have a great trip!

As long as your child can make it through the dinner she will be fine. There are lots of kids there. We can no longer eat at table service restaurants, except the buffets. Once our toddler's belly is satisfied, he won't sit still. We had an aweful experience with him Dec 15 at Ohana's. Dh and I had to take turns eating. One of us took him out of the restaurant while the other ate. It was terrible. He was pitching a fit and would not sit. He had never done that before, but 2 hours of dining was too much for him.

Absolutely! We've taken DS since he was 2 (now 4) and he is right in place with everyone else. They have a nice children's menu, including the adorable chocolate mousse moose and he also loves the smoothies. They bring crayons and the Disney paper to write on...lots of kid friendly distractions.

Enjoy! It's a wonderful restaurant!
