Has anyone used the toddler air matress? We moved our trip to get in on the 4/3 deal and now DD will only be 22 months when we go, but she is already too long for a pack n play. I know she could sleep on the sofa bed at the Poly, but I was thinking if I could use the air matress we could practice at home, so it wouldn't be completley new to her. TIA

Our son is 18 months and will be 20 months old for his first WDW trip. We plan on buying one of those travel cots for him to sleep on. He has been sleeping in his toddler bed for a few months now, so I definitely know he wouldnt want a crib or pack n play. So I think you can find those cots online for 20 or so dollars. And they are low to the ground so just in case they roll out it's only a few inches off the ground.

Don't get ready beds. We bought them for our twins when they were 3 - dd's didn't last through the night, and ds (an active sleeper) kept rolling over, so he was on the floor, and the mattress was on top of him.

We used a ready bed on our trip in October and it worked fine. DS did roll off of it a bit (ended up under our bed in the middle of the night, we couldn't find him) until we got smart and put the decorative pillows from our bed around the air mattress so he couldn't roll off.

We are not used to having him sleep in bed with us (he never does at home), so that was not an option. My only complaint was that the bed was really noisy when he rolled around but other than that it worked fine. Here is a picture:

we use a blwo up bed for our kids when we visit my parents. It is a pooh and friends thing but we only put up the actual mattresses and they are big enough that my boys sleep sideways together on one and fit just fine.
But I'd get one that plugs into the wall next time. It takes quite a lot of pumping to get them full! LOL

My kids sleep on twins at home though. Even the baby has been sleeping in a regular bed since he was 1.

You could also rent a toddler bed from www.abbf.com

I also think that the resorts have bed rails they will loan you that would probably work with the sofa bed. You could call and ask.

This is what we have.

There was a time that my DD would not sleep in a pack n' play so we needed something for vacations. This is great since it is longer than a pack n' play, plus has the raised sides. This also is about the same width as a twin bed. We have been very happy with it. We even took ours to WDW, but ended up using the Pack and play since she seemed to have gotten over her dislike of them.

We love our Kids Aero Bed - started using it at about 18 months when DS just was too big and too restless a sleeper for a PnP. We went straight for the Aero brand after our experience with a Coleman air mattress for camping (not good), which we replaced with an Aero brand, and it is still going strong 6 years later. Since we're a traveling and camping family, it was worth the little bit extra to us to know it would last a long time.

I bought a toddler ready bed, but after maybe sleeping on it 3 times she refused to sleep on it any longer. The dealbreaker was the night I ended up sleeping on the toddler air mattress and DD was on the big air mattress! Just get a twin or better yet a double air mattress instead. You'll get a much longer life span out of it. You can still get cool sheets for it!

We have a Aero Toddler Bed (or Kids bed, not sure what it's called) that our now-3-year-old son loves to sleep in. We bought it for our hotel stops on road trips to visit in-laws just about a year ago when our son had just turned 2. It has raised up sides so he can't roll out and it's a little smaller than a twin-size. It inflates in about a minute and folds up into a bag. It was worth every penny of the aprx. $80 from target.com. We'll be shipping it down before our Dec stay at Pop.

Thank you everyone. I think I'm just going to wait a little while to see if she's in a crib still or a bed. I'm thinking it'll be a bed because she's a climber. Thanks for all of your experience.
