would like to do one better meal this trip that we have yet to try Was thinking either Lunch at Morimoto or dinner at Bluezoo. Please tell me about you experiences with either. And if you have done both, which would you choose. What did you have to eat, and what would you recommend ?

Have done both and both are outstanding. It's hard to recommend specific dishes, because that depends on individual taste. I think it comes down to whether you would prefer American or Asian cuisine. Both are beautiful spaces, with creative dishes but also with familiar, comfortable choices. bluezoo has been our go-to restaurant for my birthday for a number of years, though in part that is because we always stay at the Boardwalk that time of year. And Morimoto has become pretty much a must-do for us on every trip recently. Sorry, I don't think I've been very helpful...

Thinking about fish at either. The black cod at Morimoto or the simply fish or tuna at Bluezoo. Have you had any of those?

I would search for Morimoto reviews here or at easywdw and then decide. They have no been too flattering lately. The prices have risen over 30% since opening according to Josh at easywdw.

We had dinner on our arrival night at Morimoto in February. There were some hits and some misses. Overall it was a good experience. The restaurant is beautiful and our service was great We had egg rolls, edamame and the pork buns to start. The pork buns were my least favorite. They are made with pork belly, but it is the fattiest pork belly I've ever had. I had the bbq kalbi for my entree. It was wonderful! I can't remember what my Husband got now. We paid almost $200 after tip and I only had one glass of wine and I think dh had one mixed drink. Because of the price tag, we probably won't be going back...there are too many other signatures that we want to try.

We've eaten dinner at Morimoto once and at bluezoo several times. My choice would be bluezoo, the food and service are stellar. Morimoto was quite inconsistent. While some dishes were good (Peking duck), others were serious misses (dumplings and sushi) and the service was really inconsistent. It took forever to get our food. It took about 2 hours to get our sushi. We've eaten at almost every restaurant on WDW property and bluezoo is our favorite.

We love bluezoo. There's so much on the menu yet, we always seem to lean toward the butter poached lobster and the seafood tower appetizer. And the cocktails are fab! Haven't tried Morimoto yet but we aren't into sushi (we know they have more than that on the menu).

The seafood at bluezoo is outstanding, so if that's what you're interested it's probably a better choice. Most of the best dishes we've had at Morimoto were meat (the ribs, the duck).

Funny, the so-called butter poached lobster is not actually mentioned on the menu at blueZoo, but should be offered by your Server.

Goes to show you've likely been there a few times.

For the record, that's how we order it too.

If you enjoy whole fish (deboned table-side if you like) - no place at Disney compares to blueZoo.

I haven't been to either one yet myself... So what am I doing for our trip in June? Going to both for dinner! :thumbsup2
