Today's Southwest Dings

Seems like Southwest has their Ding program back up.

My question is...am I the only one getting limited schedule?
Today's dings were for only Hartford (which happens to be my home town city)

Is this what everyone else experienced today? Or is Southwest limiting the cities we get dinged for?

I just noticed that the Ding I got shows flights from my home airport only.

I thought this was how it was to be anyhow that you only got your Home ones so you wouldn't such and such in whereever and tell them of their deals.
Yes mine for BWI only as well

This must be a new feature. Same here as it only shows flights associated with my home airport (Indy). Instead of showing you the whole schedule they only show you your home airport that you chose when you signed to receive Dings.

We only have our own airport too. Unfortunately the ones that apply for us are already sold out.

I made Orlando my home city to catch any good deals headed that way.

Got 2 DINGs today, one ending at 2:00pm and one ending at 10:30pm. Both were for Providence (my home airport), nothing to Orlando.

Oh good idea!

Hartford is my home airport, but Providence and Manchester are both close enough that I search for dings for those airports too!

Switching home airport to Orlando should do the trick!

This must be a new feature. I used to get dings for all over but have not any in quite sometime. This makes sense if they are only showing your closest airport as mine is MDW and chances are it may be awhile before we see any.

I thought that was really weird! The thing is that I also check flights from other places for family members. Wonder why they are doing this????

I thought it was only me!!! WHat I did was went in through one of my dings and then just pulled up all the combinations of airports that I was interested in... if there was a ding, then I'd see it. It took forever - I wish it would go back to the old way!

I got a Ding today, Friday, its back to the old way...I got a list of all the airports!

Also Southwest has regular specials out this weekend. Really tempting to book!

I used today's ding to switch flights for my Jan trip. Saved $320.00 for a future trip and get to fly out of Austin instead of Houston, which is better for me.

I had booked the $49 Ding for Buff to MCO a few weeks ago and just rebooked with the $39 Ding today! Saved a total of $52.80 for our two tickets for our little Jan 26-30 trip.

I noticed there were still $49 seats available too.

YAH for the Dings being back to normal. My friend got Nashville to MCO for $39 each way!

Nothing yet for IND - MCO, but the weekend sale is great. I may switch my IND-JAX in order to save money on car rental and gas.
