Today was a "Bucket List" Day!

Good job! When are show dates?

Fridays, Saturdays, and Sunday Matinees Oct 22nd through November 7th.

Quite far off, but the audition dates were set and published when they had the show slated for opening at the beginning of September. They've pushed the show back a month because they plan to do some remodelling on their performance space.

Awesome Rob!!! Keep moving on that bucket list.

Hmm ... I may have to free up some time during my Food & Wine trip.

Enjoyed reading what everyone else wants to do and gave me some ideas... Here are a few from my list:

Ski a Black Diamond (this may not seem like a hard thing for most but living in Florida and Georgia my whole life has made it difficult)

Visit Australia

Visit Africa

Skydive

Run a Marathon (training for the Disney Marathon 2011 now)

Hey there! Welcome to the DIS!

I skiied a Black Diamond slope once when I lived in Colorado. Actually, it might be more accurate to say, I FELL down a Black Diamond slope once . . .:rolleyes1

I would be happy with falling down the slope so long as I didn't break any bones or anything.lol

Sue, I'm not sure it'd be worth the time away from Disney. I've got a couple of really small roles, and it's probably a 30 to 45 minute drive in each direction from Disney.

But thanks for the support!:thumbsup2

Okay, updates here as well.

So, I discussed earlier that it's not really a "bucket list" thing, but I want to start doing theatre again, right? And I got cast in MacBeth.

Well, we opened last week, and here's the reveiw http://jackstheatre.blogspot.com/2010/10/macbeth-plays-big-at-small-theatre-in.html

I'm having a ball! The same theatre is doing Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (the musical based on the movie), and I'm stage managing, while Scott plays the lead.

I'll also be assistant directing All the Great Books . . . .Abridged in the summer.

On top of that Scott and I have joined some of our friends in forming and Improv/Sketch Comedy troupe. We've been doing some improv in a pub, and will be performing a Comedy Murder Myster Dinner in November, as well as hosting Trivia night every Tuesday starting next week.

AND we've submitted an application to the 2011 Orlando Fringe Theatre Festival. If we get chosen in the lottery, I'll be directing an orignal show that we're in the process of writing.

I'm freaking exhausted, but I'm having a blast!

More updates as I get them!

Thanks to everyone here for the encouragement to reconnect with this part of my life! I appreciate it!

Wow Rob!
Lights cameras Action!

I've been thinking I need to start painting again.
Now you have "aroused" me. ;)

Rob-
You put your toe back in and then jumped in!! Terrific, and the exhaustion from doing what you love is so much better than the exhaustion from being stuck.

Wally-
Please go back to painting, I can only believe you have creativity to spare. :lovestruc

Kathleen

Wow, no wonder you're exhausted! But, it all sounds great. Way to go!

Awesome Rob! :thumbsup2 Now I need to pull out my list again and start moving - you've motivated me.

Speaking of "the list", my cousing recently crossed this off with her recent trip to Hawaii. It's one that I've had as a goal for a while though:

Visit every state in the United States. I've got 30 down, 20 to go . . .
