Interesting tidbit, my husband served with Jerry's son Noah in the Navy, they are still good friends.

He is apparently in hospice, which is very sad. It’s unfortunate that his death was reported prematurely. My thoughts go out to his family.

Thank you for posting today's report that he has now passed, @Dan Murphy . I just came across it myself and came to post it, but see that you already did.

RIP Wally. I spent many hours as a kid watching Leave it to Beaver, in fact to this day, if it's on one of the channels that show the old shows, I will still sit and watch it. You will be missed.

This is reminding me of the episode of Friends where Ross and Monica's grandmother died... twice.
