Sad and strange to have a major attraction close w/o any word of the upcoming replacement...wonder if it will negatively affect attendance?

Would like to think they've got an announcement/replacement project in the wings - otherwise why would they close it.

I will miss it. We (DW, DS and myself) rode it multiple times on every trip to the parks! Today is kind of a sad day, but I hope the replacement is something worthwhile!

Sorry to see this one go. On our last trip DD and I rode BTTF several times over the course of the week. We'll miss it when we go back in July.

Ah I loved back to the future was a classic. Hope they replace it with something good! I personally think they should have just updated the original ride

Nothing announced yet, but rumor is the Simpsons will move in. BTTF had it's day, but was seriously outdated. I'm happy to see something else take it's place.

I have to agree that some kind of buzz (legitimate, from UO, not rumors on the internet) should have been in place for whatever is going to replace BTTF. I'm not sure if it will have an effect on attendance, but it makes people (myself included) a little aggravated that there hasn't been a definitive announcement, but only rumors and innuendo!

I wonder how long the version will remain open in Hollywood. It's still there now, but maybe they will be replacing it too .

We live close to Hollywood so maybe I'll have to take a trip there to ride it before it closes.

In Feb 2007, I was fortunate enough to go on BOTH Bttf rides in Orlando and Hollywood US. Our family's favorite ride.

I know. My work schedule makes it mathmatecially impossible for me to have been there.

And what gives on closing it on a Fri? Sat would've been better, especially for me!
