Anyone want to join me in starting over? I need to lose at least 40 lbs and it'll be great if we could support each other. It makes it easier to stay on track if your accountable to someone too!

Thanks! It sure would be nice to be thinner for my trip! But my main reason for restarting my weight loss journey is for health reasons. I want to be healthy!

HI! My name is Lori and the name of your thread caught my eye because when I hauled myself out of bed at 6:37 this morning to go and walk for 45 minutes, I told myself the same thing! I am a 37 year old mom of two kids who also works full time during the school year as a kindergarten assistant. I have to get up for work at 5:30, and after school between homework, kids activities, etc. I don't have (or make) much time for exercise. Also, I am a stress eater and my 29 sweet kindergarteners can often be stressful (although I do love them!). My fitness goals for the summer are to lose 15 pounds(20 would be better but I will be thrilled with 15) by eating healthier, and exercising at least once each day. I do have a membership at a gym, so ideally I would like to walk the dog for about 40 minutes each morning before my husband goes to work and then in the afternoon when it is too hot for the kids to be outside, head to the gym (3-4 times each week). And then, the nights we are home, take the dog out again in the late evenings, and this time have the kids tag along and ride their bikes or roller blade. (In the fall I will start having them walk with me to get their little legs ready for our Disney trip in December). I really need to concentrate on providing my family with better food choices and not as much junk and I think I am going to start a W.I.S.H. food journal as well! Anyway, that's me in a nut shell. I hope that if I establish these healthy habits this summer that they will carry over into the school year and become a permanent part of my life so I can quit gaining and losing the same 15 pounds!

Debi -

I want to join you - I miss our Biggest Loser Blue team days!!!

I've been doing good (with the exception of one weekend) for a few weeks now, but I'm still struggling to make my weight go below 150. I did see 149.8 the other day, but you know how it is before you make the next number it sneaks up on you and then you hover for a bit. I'm hoping this week I get out of the 150's and can get as close to 140 as I can before my vacations start at the end of the month ( I plan on being really good for my Niagara Falls one next weekend and pretty good for my Vegas one on 6/30).

I can use all the help I can get!!!!

I want to say Yay! for everyone starting over.

That is the best thing you can do for yourself. Never give up. Keep trying.

I sure WISH it were easy, but at least we have WISH to come to for the journey.

Keep on keepin' on.

Sounds like you have a great plan for the summer! All that walking along with healthy food choices will just melt those 15 pounds away! I want to start walking every morning too, I wish I had a dog! Then I'd have no excuse not to! A WISH food journal would be great, its easier to be good when everyones watching!

I miss the Biggest Loser team days too! I did so well on that challenge, I think I lost about 17 lbs but unfortunately I've since found them. All of them AND a couple more!:sad2: Why is it so so hard to lose but so easy to gain!
