Today is the day!!!!

Titus is coming home today!

Unfortunately we won't be able to be there when he gets off the plane! I just can't believe it's working out this way...

We were going to make it exactly on time to meet him today. Exactly because I intended to do some 'special Titus is coming home driving' to make sure we did.

We couldn't leave any earlier for the fort because Ashli has an interview to get on a research team today. It is a research team that many people want on but it's selective on who they accept. One in five applicants make it to the interview level. About 80% of the interviewees get on the team so Ashli has an excellent shot at making the team at this point. Ash is in a competitive major when it comes to getting into grad school and getting onto this research team will give her something impressive to put on the application (and it's something that Ashli wants to do very badly) and also it will help her get an internship she's hoping for this summer. It is just too important for her future to skip. We were going to have exactly enough time to get to the fort.

Now they are arriving early. A friend just let us know. I'm so glad that Titus will have lots of people there to greet him without us. His parents, grandparents, sister, bil, and some family friends are all going to be there but still...I just hate for us to miss the actual moment of his arrival. Oh well, it can't be helped. And TITUS IS COMING HOME!!! Whoo Hoo!! He's going to finally be here. I just can't believe it! I am so thankful that the nightmare of the last year is almost over.

I'll post an update tomorrow and maybe some pics if I get any (stupid camera is messing up, I think I've worn it out! lol)
