A few years ago, DH bought me a larger diamond for our anniversary. I took my original diamond from my ring, bought two quarter carat diamond ear rings and had them mounted at "10 o'clock and 2 o'clock" so I have a Mickey Mouse diamond pendant. I love it and I always wear it. Today I got out of the shower and noticed that the chain was dangling loosely around my neck, no MICKEY!!!
My heart jumped in my throat and then I looked down and there it was, on the bath matt six inches outside of the shower. If I had lost it in the shower, it is light enough, it would have washed down the drain and through the trap! I am SO LUCKY! This is my second warning with this necklace. The clasp is fine, I just need to check it often, but I almost lost it four years ago so I need to pay attention.

You have to look real hard but its there.
I hope she wears shower shoes!
The "Mickey" is a wonderful idea, Dawn! My grandmothers have both left diamonds to me as well as having one from a first marriage. Rather than continue to have them sit in a jewelry box, I could easily have a "Mickey" made, too.
