I can't think of a single reservation I want to make today. We have places we enjoy (sanaa, skippers), but none of them are the type that I would need to plan a day and time 6 months in advance. Maybe I'll try some lounges (although they always seem so full!). Anyone else not make ADRs so far in advance?

My ADR day is Thursday and none of the ones I want will be particularly difficult either. But, I’ll still make them because a) I can always rearrange them later if needed and b) I like seeing them in MDE....makes the trip seem more “real” :-)

I just went to look, out of curiosity, how booked up restaurants look for those days. Well, the new MDE is up and it's telling me:

 Please come back later. We are unable to show your plans at this time.

And it is only showing March 30, which is 180 days away. It's not recognizing my on-site stays. I guess it's a good thing I didn't have to make any ADRs, LOL.

On our last trip I didn't make any reservations at 180 and eventually got everything we wanted. Including dinner at Be Our Guest.

We do not make adr's any farther out than one day...while we're there... mostly day of. Never had a problem getting into where we wanted to eat.

It's quite liberating, like a vacation should be. But, you must be prepared to eat qs or a different restaurant just in case.

We go during free dining so even easier to get adrs are usually more difficult. Although I did notice this year was a lot easier to move our adrs around. I’m thinking maybe with Disney making people upgrade at moderates and values now less people are doing it and strictly going with quick service.
