WELL-- i didn't make it to my induction!!! THe evening before I was scheduled to go in to be induced we decided to go have one last family dinner at this great sushi/Japanese place. Right when the waitress put my plate of sushi down (yes- i was eating sushi, but it only 12 hours b/f I was being induced...) I felt a pop inside and warm water trickled down my chair. YES...my water had broken.... in the restaurant!! I was trying to be quiet about it, but my 4 y.o. kept shouting, "What water broke?? Whats happening???" MY DH called my inlaws to come pick the kids up at the restaurant. THe lady at the table next to us went to alert the waitress. The Japanese waitress misunderstood and brought a washcloth to clean up what she thought was a spilled water glass. I explained and pointed when tellling her that my water BROKE. She goes," Sooooooo....you want a to-go box"? YES! And my DH gave her a big tip for the clean up. We come home to grab the bags and update my facebook status before going to the hospital.
Bennett Paul ______ was born into the world at 11:28 pm 9/8/08 (my due date)... weighing in at a hefty 8 lbs 13 oz!!! and 21" long.
He is adorable and it all started because my DH wanted to "test out" the kids' Christmas moonbounce.
SIGH.
