On November 19, 1969, Apollo 12 astronauts Charles Conrad and Alan Bean made man's second landing on the moon.

On November 19, 1977, Egyptian President Anwar Sadat became the first Arab leader to visit Israel.

On November 19, 1997, Iowa seamstress Bobbi McCaughey gave birth to four boys and three girls - only the second set of septuplets known to be born alive.

On November 19, 2001, President Bush signed legislation to put airport baggage screeners on the federal payroll.

I always admired President Sadat.

Thanks, Deb.

I know the last 5 years have flown by for me, I can imagine how they must've flown by for the McCaugheys!

There does seem to be a lot of cyber mischief on the DIS these days, Deb.

Thanks for doing this for us, I always look forward to your history posts :)
