OK, two weeks and about 30,000 miles later, I'm finally back. Back-to-back meetings/conferences took me to New Orleans (with DH), and Shanghai and Beijing, China (with my parents). Saw and ATE lots (Antoine's and Emeril's in New Orleans, TONS of Chinese food; saw the Tian'anmen Square, Forbidden City, Ming Tombs, Great Wall, Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven, Chairman Mao's Mausoleum,etc.), visited with lots of relatives. But I am SICK of travelling and ready to be at home for a while, at least. Unfortunately, I had 500+ e-mails waiting for me. Anyway, here's Today in History . . .
