I've learned a few things--many that I wish I hadn't. Like:

That, no matter what, the mother-in-law is ALWAYS wrong. She can say or do nothing right and is so bad that she's not entitled to be called by any name at all.

There are perfect people who get offended just looking at plus size clothing. These same people then justify their hurt feelings by trying to tell us it's because they're worried about other people and their kids. Yeah, right.

That the DIS allows posters to start threads with no purpose other than to bait someone else based on their political views. Thus, allowing others to poke fun at their expense.

That those who were being baited actually have a pretty good sense of humor and are usually the bigger person by letting it roll off their backs.

I learned that not all 7 year old children can read. (Still hard to comprehend that one though!!)

I learned that normally someone that points out your typing error usually has their own spelling issues!!

I learned (A L-O-N-G time ago) that Dan Murphy is a sweet and kind ...very kind person and that I am lucky to know him.
