The line for HM is out the gate and almost to the popcorn cart - so yeah the parks definitely feel crowded. Overheard from some folks in line that LA schools don't have class today so that prolly accounts for some of the crowd.

Just thank your lucky stars that you weren't standing in the HM line when it was 105 degrees like I was. LOL That line was brutal because there was a lot of sun and only a bit of shade here and there. And naturally every time the line moved it took me right through every shady part I could find.
REALLY? Some schools aren't in yet?? We will be there tomorrow. I hope it was carry over from the weekend, and most are headed home!! I was hoping the HOT HOT weather would deter people (locally) from going.....
I think a lot of kids were out today because of Rosh Hashanah (sp). I know some districts in Ventura County were out because of it and I suspect a lot of schools in LA were too.

Was anyone in parks yesterday and today? How did today compare?
Every Los Angeles school I know of (public and private) was off for Rosh Hashana yesterday. I'm guessing that's why it was so crowded, and that it backed off today.
We were there yesterday and yes all of LA Unified School District was off on Monday. I didn't think it was that bad. We got on more rides than normal, but then we were also able to do the extra hour from 9-10 for resort guests and that saved us in Carsland! Only waited 14 minutes for Radiator Springs!!!
Hopefully the park was even less crowded for you today!
