We arrived yesterday and went to MK for a HOT minute, but then went back to the resort to settle in.

This morning it was HOT while we were waiting for the boat (VWL), got to MK and it seemed :mad:REALLY CROWDED:mad: but looks were deceiving. Yes, there were thousands of people entering, but the rest of the day it didn't seem crowded.

:dumbo:We booked it to Dumbo, passing all the photopass folks that i'm desperate to hit to make the stupid cd worth the money :rotfl:

:dumbo:WHAT! Dumbo was already at 30 minutes... over to :tink:Peter Pan with dd2 screaming in tow (she wanted Dumbo) After peter pan, back to :dumbo:dumbo to wait, but only about 20 minutes... sign still said 30. :umbrella:And then the skies opened up... our ponchos were safely back in the room.

It sorta stopped raining long enough to take a few cute pics: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=30493970&l=3bc5cd8a5a&id=1137701177 ... can't I just include the pic from facebook?

We then went on the Tea cups and the real Florida rain began and the temperature DROPPED! We walked purposefully from Belle's story time to Pecos Bills. Our thoughts were that the rain might stop long enough to use our fast pass for Jungle Cruise, and/or go on Pirates... the girls were freezing and hungry so we got in to Pecos Bills before half the park's census. That was about 11:30 and we stayed for every bit of an hour... a real rain storm. Crowds were thin coming and going. Silly people, scared of a little rain.

Off to DTD to shop a bit, and eat at Wolfgang Puck Express... then hopefully back to MK tonight for the parade and fireworks. Hope the rain stays away long enough for that...

We get in late Wednesday and we are coming to hang out at resorts and swim and rest and it looks like it is set in for the five days we are there. They aren't saying showers, they are saying RAIN! Is that what you are getting and here down there until next Monday?

And main I hate flying in rain AND wind.

Today was worse in some ways... it hasn't stopped raining all day. It reminds me of Forest Gump when he's describing all the different rains in Vietnam. Big fat rain drops, little ones, fast ones, slow ones, and even ones that come at ya from the side.

The dollar store ponchos are great for the occasional rain, but I spent the $15 and got dd4 and I our own Disney ponchos cause they are much more durable and comfortable. DD2 and grandma stayed in the room.

MK was great because the crowds just weren't there!!! We walked on the Aladdin's carpets, and stayed on for 3 rounds. Then on to Pirates, the Jungle Cruise, both walk on's. You name it, we walked on it... The longest thing we waited for was the Fairies in Toontown, and even that was only 20 minutes.

It's cold, though, with the rain and wind. I planned for 90+ cause that was the forecast right before we left, but luckily it was cold in Ohio when we left and we all have sweaters.

It's supposed to let up a bit this evening and then a bit more tomorrow. We'll see.

We made one last mad dash to MK yesterday morning too. It was GREAT! Walked right on to Splash, BTMRR, Aladdin Magic Carpets, POC and we were there at 9:30am when Aladdin and Jasmine walked out to sign autographs! I was so sad we had to fly home yesterday because it would have been a great day to spend all day at MK!
