Last August Toby was in Vancouver WA and my BIL went to his concert. My BIL was in Mogadishu and is now in the Reserves and Toby apparently has a policy that he lets Veterans in for FREE! My BIL and his family sat in the second row for free! What a great guy Toby is. He is the kind of guy who puts his money where his mouth is. And I feel that he is so underrated.

I was so happy when I saw that he sets aside certain weeks to tour for the USO - it's one of my causes. I think he is awesome!

I ADORE Toby! And my son almost worships him. MIL took both kids to Memphis (about 5 hours from home at the time) to see him a few years ago, and ds10 has all of his cds. We still laugh that he was the only 8 yr old in the world to get "White Trash With Money" in his Easter basket that year! It always helps our mornings to hear a little Toby on the way to school (this morning we heard his singing buddy's song-where he leaves a message on his answering machine). One morning last week dd8 was so scared that we weren't going to stop singing "Let's Get Drunk and Be Somebody" before we stopped at her drop off point!

Yes, he is a real character. Can't help but like him. As a matter of fact we just discovered that he lives several doors away from my DDs "new" in-laws. (she was just married in June) her in-laws said he is a down to earth, nice guy. Of course his home is enormous and beautiful, but that is to be expected.

Toby Keith does not have a bigger fan than I. Don't follow him around the country or anything, because I'm not an insane groupie, but I love his songs and think he's a hell of a guy. I've been a fan for a loooong time.

I like him so much that DH refuses to admit he likes some of the songs and always refers to him as "that pansy-*** country singer."

I almost never post Toby's name without using the heart smilie. Because I heart him!!! He's the only celebrity I follow.

99.9% in love with Toby. 100% in love with DH. (But if I actually knew Toby, he'd probably get a lower score. Easy to be in love with someone when you don't have that pesky knowing him thing to get in the way!)
