Ok following on from another thread about xmas traditions I was wondering if you all wrap the presents that you kids get from santa.
I never wrap the presents from santa, each of my kids get their own chair with all their presents arranged on it. Under the tree all the presents are wrapped but they are from friends and family. This is the way it was when I was younger and I just carried it on but DH thinks its odd as his were always wrapped up.
Think I just go for the easy option but I say i am helping the environment:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
So what do you all do?

ours are all wrapped, the ones from santa are not labelled but have distinctive paper (if that makes sense !)

Same here :thumbsup2

We are more careful with paper after DD noticed that Grannie's paper was the same as last years Santa :rolleyes1

Paper for Santa has to be different

As a kid Santa never wrapped mine but wrapped DH - he must have come from a posher part of town ;)

Ours have always been wrapped. I can't remember what my parents did when I was little.

Our's are wrapped as well, and TBH our DD's have never ever noticed that the wrapping paper may be familiar to them ;) , I think that might be down to the fact that they are soooo speedy at removing the paper :scared1: :lmao:

Natalie are you one of my sisters in disguise :rolleyes1 ? Thats exactly the way it was in our house too, and is now with my daughter - what fits in her Santa sack goes in, unwrapped, and anything too big is arranged beside the sack on "her" chair.

All my presents are wrapped and put in gift bags. When the girls were younger, they had their 'own' wrapping paper :santa:

All ours are wrapped, this is how it was when I was a child too.

We always got ours on seperate sofas, arranged beautifully. Mine weren't ever wrapped until a memorable incident when I was about five and my parents took me to Santa's grotto. I was dressed in a cute little dress, and looked like a little angel (Note, looked like!).... When Santa asked what I wanted for Christmas I said: "Santa, my presents are always lovely, but what I'd really like is to have them wrapped up please.".... My parent's looked horrified and Santa looked at them like they were the most awful people ever! He said: "Of course sweetheart.... They will all be wrapped up with pretty bows on...." and he shot my parents a right look! :lmao: He then gave me the bestest present from the sack!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Ever since then I've had lovely wrapped up presents!

Its nice to know someone else does it the same as me as all my friends think i'm mad:confused3

I forgot to mention, we all had our own spot in the living room for our presents. Mine was & still is by the tv:thumbsup2

Ours leave their sack on the chair of choice where their presents will end up :thumbsup2

My girls have their presents from Santa wrapped and put in a stocking at the end of their beds and they always have a satsuma and nuts in the bottom - just like I did when I was a little girl. I'll never forget the thrill of waking up and hearing the rustle of the stocking and guessing what all the lumps were and I love to watch the girls doing the same.

santa brings all our presents...
isnt he supposed to? lol

(dont we all need to come up with the same story!?)

Mine have special paper too for gifts from Santa. I'm debating wrapping the stocking presents this year - can't be bothered but it would buy me an extra 5 minutes in bed on the day!

When we were small ours were never wrapped and we all used to have a chair ! I loved it the year mine went on the sofa :rotfl:

I always wrap ours, I have thought about the environment but I love seeing the look on ds and dd's faces when they're unwrapping their gifts ... it's the best :goodvibes
