Does Santa wrap your children's Christmas presents? And how does he differentiate between whose is whose?

Of course he does! Tags have their names on them. When they were younger we would wrap each child's in different paper, depending on what color they liked, what character it had, etc.

Yes, Santa wraps DD's gifts at our house. We have an only child, so she knows if it says "From Santa", it's for her. But I suppose if we had more than one, Santa would just label each gift with "To Suzie, Love Santa" or "To Tommy, Love Santa". Obviously, if Santa brought something really big or unwieldy, like a bike, he wouldn't wrap that.

Yes, everything gets wrapped, including the stocking stuff. I would so disappointing to walk out of the room and into the living room and see everything just sitting under the tree all unwrapped. Half the fun is opening the packages and being surprised by each one!

Wrapped! I used ot even buy different "Santa only" wrapping paper and tags when DS was younger.

Nope, he doesn't wrap the gifts. He just drops them down the chiminy. There is only the sweetpea so she always knows whats for her. The only things that aren't for her are the gifts Santa leaves for the dog.

Most of it is wrapped. Each kid gets different paper with their favorite character on it. Last year though, Santa did something a little different (boy is that guy smart!) and it really worked well. He left one thing for each child that wasn't wrapped. They were each something that was in a whole lot of packaging and he must have known that it would take Mommy and Daddy about four hours just to get the toy out of the stupid box. That way they each had something to play with as soon as they got up and it gave us a couple of minutes to grab a cup of coffee, get the cameras rolling, and settle in for the mess! My husband and I were just talking about how nice that was last year and we hope that Santa will do it again this year!

Some are wrapped and some aren't.

At our house, Santa likes to create an artful display of the presents. Each child gets one "WOW" gift - usually the biggest or most desired thing on their list, and then a few smaller ones. The WOW gift is unwrapped and usually set up ready to play. The other gifts are wrapped or not, depending on how asthetically pleasing it looks.

This has the added bonus of giving the children something to do when they first wake up (besides waking up mom at the crack of dawn).

Some examples: one year my son got a train set, and the tracks were all set up around the stack of his other gifts. Another year, he got a basketball hoop, which had a bow on it, and the basket held more gifts. Last year he got a huge wooden Swiss Family Robinson treehouse thing, and that was all set up - believe me it looked way more exciting all put together than if it was just a wrapped square.

When my oldest daughter was small, she got a play kitchen, with gifts hidden in the stove and fridge. Another year, it was a Barbie cruise ship, set up and ready to play with.

Last year my youngest got a high chair for her doll, with her favorite doll sitting in the chair, holding her stocking.

Of course when they got big things like bikes or skateboards, those just had a big bow stuck on them.

I love the way Santa makes a "display" at your house. He must have went to the Martha Stewart school of gift display! :thumbsup2

I wrap all my kids gifts and put tags on each gift with their name and that it's from "Santa"...my boys are 17 and 12...they just roll their eyes, because of course they recognize my handwriting :rotfl2: but I will still be doing this when they are grown and out of the house probably...just part of the Christmas spirit and the fun!!

Santa used to drop them off early for me to wrap for him because he couldn't possibly wrap all those presents.

I had to come up with this one when my oldest noticed the same paper on a santa gift and a mom and dad gift.

All Santa's gifts, big or small get wrapped. They are wrapped in paper that has Santa's on the wrapping paper. They are made out To and From in special handwriting that only Santa can write and look nothing like mommy or daddys handwriting. ;)

All the gifts are wrapped in my house. The gifts from santa are left near the fireplace and he uses differet wrapping aper and different gift tags written in different handwriting. We usually will keep the "big gift" which is the expensive gift that they really wanted, wrapped and out of sight. After they opened all their gifts and have been playing with them for awhile they will wander in other rooms and suddenly find the big gift. This way they get some play out of the other gifts first. They wake us up as soon as they get up. I go downstairs to check to see if Santa has come to fill their stockings and leave presents. This gives me time to break out the camcorder and film them coming down the stairs. They first take turns opening their stockings so that they can see what everyone else has gotten then my daughters exchange their gifts to each other and then they give us the gifts they have for us and then they open all the other gifts.

Santa wraps his gifts in Santa wrapping paper and there are Santa tags with the names on them. I can't imagine the presents not wrapped. Unwrapping gifts is half the fun!

Santa didn't wrap gifts in my husband's house when he was growing up but he always wrapped at my house. What's the fun of going to the tree and seeing everything unwrapped?

Santa displays at our house, no wrapping paper. Of course, Santa displayed when I was a child so I think he must know what the family traditions are in each house.

Santa didn't wrap the gifts at my house and that is how we knew they were from him. At my DH's house all the gifts were wrapped in Santa themed paper and that is how they knew they were from him so it was confusing when we had our DS to know what to expect. Santa decided not to wrap as it was cheaper and easier.

We have "Santa" paper and everything is wrapped including stocking stuffers. Eventhough my girls are older I still use "santa" paper and our regular paper. It keeps the magic alive!

Santa wraps his gifts in his very own special paper. He even prints the kiddies names on the tags with his red pen. After Christmas, he stops back by and leaves any of the special paper he didn't use, for mom (me) to use the next year.

Santa places things around the tree here fresh out of his sack, unwrapped. The kids each have a side of the tree so they know what is theirs when they walk in. Luckily I only have two kids - if I had more I'd run out of tree sides!!!
