We are staying onsite, have FP+ booked, and are going to MK this Friday.
This is supposed to be a relaxed day at the park, just hitting our must-dos at rope drop and with FP+ in the afternoon and watching the parades. I am putting aside my irritation with FP+ for this trip, since I will get my fill of rides at IoA next week.
I don't have a smart phone. My husband does, but I don't want us to be tied to it constantly. MDE has my email address, which I will not be checking at the park. I am nervous about using the MDE app and it not working correctly. I've already had issues with MDE and don't want to stress about FP+ reservations disappearing and reappearing while at the parks. I will have a hard copy of my real reservations.
Is there really a great benefit to downloading and using the MDE app at the parks in our case? What exactly happens if a ride is down when we arrive to use our FP+, if we don't want to access our MDE account or email? Is it really beneficial to keep track of wait times for POTC and IASW to know when to head over there, or are they not very reliable anyway?
