To tux or not to tux...

We plan on tuxing both nights. It is my Dh and 2 Ds's 7 and 9. They have bow ties and neck tie shirts.

But that puts me in a quandry. I hadnt planned on being so formal on semi-formal night, a nice pantsuit but will I clash if my men are in tuxes?

What do the ladies wear when their men wear tuxes both nights?

I would try to match the guys since you can have more photos taken! Just wear something like a simple above knee length black cocktail dress. They are so easy to find. You might already have one in your closet.

Where can I find disney ties (both straight and bow) besides ebay? I know my DH and DS(10) would love to wear one on our cruise.

Same for me. I had planned to wear a sortof 50s style cotton floral dress (bought it for "Kindergarten Mother's Day Tea") for semi-formal night (we hope to be in Palo), but that would not go with the tux very well. I may just wear that dress another night. I tend to dress up every night on the cruise so maybe I'll just plan for a LBD on semi-formal night!

My DH just brings a dark suit with 2 different shirts and ties. The white shirt he wears on formal night and light blue on informal. I personally don't think renting a tux is necessary - I think he looked quite handsome in his suit. There have been a handful of men on the cruises we've been on who wear tuxes for those special dinner nights!

We rented a tux from DCL for dh back in sept. It was some of the best pics we've had since our wedding. We went several weeks before the cruise to get him measured at a tux rental place. They were very happy to measure him even through we were not renting anything from them. Once on board the tux fit perfectly. Dh wore the tux on formal night and then he wore the pants again on semi-formal night. We plan on renting one again in oct. for our next cruise.
