My DH is almost 6'5". He has a problem with rides that has bars or restraints that go over the head because they push on his shoulders and hurt him. Has anyone out there been uncomfortable on RnRC because of this? I am trying to talk him into trying it but our last trip to cedar point scared him after he was restrained too tightly and hurt for days. Any one else have this problem?

48 days left!!!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc

My DH is a big 6'3" He has huge broad shoulders and a fair sized beer belly. (Although he swears he weighs the same as when we met 13 years ago...I think he might weigh the same but gravity has definately been in use) He has no problems with his chest on Rockin Rollercoaster or most other rides. His problem is more with the leg room on older rides like Space Mtn and Big Thunder. He just squeezes in tight. I know your DH is 2" taller, but thought this might help a little.

My DH is 6'5" and he didn't have problems with any of the rides. Well, maybe Snow White was a little cramped, but other than that he was fine;-) We rode RnR several times and he had no problems at all. If your DH wanted a little more space around his shoulders he could always shrug them pretty high as the bar is pulled down, then relax them. That way they won't pinch as tight. My dad who is 6'2" did this on Alien Encounter because he's slightly claustrophobic. He didn't get some of the special effect sounds and things this way, but he definitely didn't feel cramped!

Have a great time:D

DH is 6'4" and has not had any problems other than being a little tight on the leg room in Snow White, Splash, and BTMRR. Camping-lol I can personally attest to that gravity thing!

I think if he hears that other tall people can do it, he will maybe try it! Now, I just need to make sure I dont chicken out! Thanks again:Pinkbounc

The front seat of RnRC has more leg room than the rest - a tip I learned from a tall CM on my last trip when I rode with my 6'5" brother.

I'm 6'5" too and I've never had a problem with any ride at WDW or Universal. RnRC is one of my favourites!

6' 6" here and have ridden just about every ride at WDW (at least all I want to, a very few of the real kiddie ride, no), including Goofy's Barnstormer. As said, on RnR, make sure to get in the odd rows.....1, 3, 5, 7, 9, or 11....a VERY big difference as compared to the even rows. I got in an even once, don't want to do THAT again, LOL. Also, last row of either car on Space has a bit more leg room. Enjoy.

My dh is 6'9" and always goes on RnRC and does say it is hard on his shoulders (but I'm not sure he knew about the odd rows or the back cars). Just to let you know, he tried Mission Space in July and said it was not uncomfortable to sit at all.

That is so good to know about mission space because I wanted to try that one too. We did learn the hard way about space mtn and he sat in back after that. I never heard about the odd rows either on RnRC until now. Thanks for the info! :smooth: :Pinkbounc

I don't know if you are going to IOA but just a tip for the tall folk. DO NOT Get in the front seat on the flume ride Rip Saw Falls. I did and I'm only 6'0, it didn't bother me at all until the end when I tried too get out and my legs were stuck. It took a while for me to shimmy and wiggle out. The guy at the unloading dock said they should have never put a tall person in the front seat. Well I know now!!
