DH and I have our annual anniversary trip coming up in May. I booked a Poly studio for 5/4-5/8 because DH usually only lets me go to WDW for no more than 4 nights at a time. We were supposed to go on an 7 day Alaskan cruise in June with my parents and sisters, but DH won’t be able to get off work that week so I am going to have to cancel it. So then he said I could extend our May trip from Sunday to Sunday. So now I’m scrambling to book the other 3 nights. No availability at Poly now, plus that’s more points than we have left with all of our other trips booked next year. I try not to borrow or buy OTU points too much either, but I will if needed. I managed to get the last two nights at CCV, but nothing yet for the 5th night. We did a split stay once and it seemed like a lot of hassle, but it was a short trip, 2 nights at BLT and 2 nights at CCV so maybe it wasn’t a fair shot at it. I can put a waitlist in for either Poly or CCV for the missing night. Or BLT has 3 of the last 4 nights available, but the one in the middle not available, which I could waitlist. DH doesn’t love the idea of a split stay at all, he likes to just get in and get settled. The only thing available the entire week now is SSR, which is low points compared to everywhere else, but not sure if we would like it there. We’ve never stayed there and it seems to be hit or miss on how people feel about it there with all the buses and how large it is. This being a long trip, we could relax more though, which may work out well there. We tend to stay at the MK resorts the most because that’s where I like to be. We’ve tried BCV and BWV and the only thing we liked at either one was being close to Epcot and the skyliner. I’m just torn on what to do because it seems like saving points and staying at SSR the entire trip makes the most sense, but am I going to regret not being in the MK area?
