We have been to WDW 2 times now, always during value season so I didn't have to worry about season changes. Here is my dillema, for the first time we are going during the holiday season (Dec 29-7), I thought about getting the MYW package with dining. Now I am realizing that Jan. 1 it may switch to value season, should I just book on my own (split) or stay with a package?

You will have to decide on how you want to eat. We were undecided, having a hard time with this same question. I printed out the restaurant choices and then looked over all the menus of the sit down restaurants we likes. It definitely made the best sense for us to go with the package. We've never done a meal plan before, but I just know it will work out for the best for us. Plus DH will like having it all paid for before we leave.

In my opinion....not to package. I was able to get the POP and tickets on my owncheaper than anything AAA travel could.

Even if you book a package, you can split your stay to take advantage of the lower value season rates - just book 2 packages!
