:confused3 Hubby and I will be celebrating our 40th anniversary on Nov 9. We really wanted to celebrate at WDW arriving on Nov. 8 and departing on the 13th, but our travel agent advises against those dates because of Jersey Week and Veteran's Day. I use an ECV and hate trying to navigate safely in large crowds. Have you visited at that time, and should we try or not? Help!

I did around that same time and I did not think that it was very crowded at all. We went on the 9th in 2012 and it was one of our best trips. I thought the lines weren't very long at all. For me it was a wonderful time to go

We went November 2012. We arrived the Sunday, the day before Veteran's Day, the end of Jersey week, and the last Sunday for food and wine. Went to Epcot and it was pretty well packed from 1pm on in the World Showcase. Monday at MK was not bad at all. I would recommend you go over to easywdw.com and look at their crowd calendars and writeups for November. Not sure if it's last or upcoming but they should give you an idea either way.

How sure are that the travel agent knows what their talking about? I've read about some that really know their stuff and some that think they do, but don't.

We're from New Jersey and went during Jersey week in 2012 and it was GREAT!

Now, that was before FP+ and I did a great job planning our schedule, but we loved it. We were able to catch the Food & Wine festival, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party & the Osbourne Lights!

We went back 6 weeks later and didn't have nearly as great of a time. It was really hot and crowded with tour groups.

I would go. I don't think all of us from the Garden State make it THAT much more crowded than it would normally be.

I have been there the busiest week in November (Thanksgiving) and still really enjoyed my trip. The weather was amazing.

I'm thinking of that week too. All the crowd calendars give most of the week a 3 and only bump veterans day up to a 4 out of 10.

The biggest thing would be to stay clear of Epcot until the 11th as the 8-10th is the last weekend of F&W and EP will be jammed with locals.

We are going Nov 4-9 this year. It will be the first time we have been in Nov. I am hoping it will be just a hair cooler than the first week of Oct, which is when we usually go.

We did the first two weeks of November in 2010 and loved it. Crowds were minimal except the weekends at the F&WF. Avoid Epcot in the evening Friday and Saturday. If we are ever able to go back, that is my first pick of dates.
