To my team

Thanks Pete! :thumbsup2

..and thanks for creating this fun canvas for me to paint on.

With all kidding and jealous grumbling aside, I am so glad that you all had such a wonderful time. You should be very proud of yourselves for making this a unique and special event for so many.

I wanted to throw my thanks to the team as well. What an absolutely great, great group. I was so glad that my family and I were able to be a part of it. I was able to reconnect with so many friends, and make so many new friends as well.

I'm honored to have a small part in the podcast, and thank Pete for giving me the opportunity to have a voice and be heard by this wonderful group. I have to laugh because during the show taping Walter and Teresa joked comparing themselves to Chip and Dale as being ancillary characters on the show. Well if Walter and Teresa are Chip and Dale, then I'm one of those faceless chorus characters - I'm a nameless chipmunk scurrying by or one of the other random sisters of Ariel the Little Mermaid. However, I love having any part, and Pete has given me an excuse to support my passion.

Thanks for the cruise, and thanks for all that you the whole team does. Keep up the great work, and I can't wait to see you all again soon.

I agree Pete! Your team is great!! They are top notch! And to add, I have to say, the boss "ain't too bad!" It takes a REAL "boss" to get out of his people what you do. Because none of this would be possible without your managing style, commitment and drive, they are able to carry out your vision. Add into that, their own touch and style and commitment and this is what you get!! :thumbsup2

Yep, best team ever!!

I am so happy to hear that everything went so well for all of you!!!!

You are right Pete...You do have the BEST Team!!!! Your not so bad yourself;)

Like I always say...there is no "I" in team...but there is a 'me'......

Just kidding - everyone did what they do best to pull off what was, in my opinion, a flawless experience.

With so much planned and so much coordinated effort I was nervous about what "could have gone wrong" - but very little did.

I am very proud of, and pleased with, the cruise, the experience we gave our guests and the work we all did to pull this off.

Now leave us alone for a few months until DIS-A-Palooza (things are in the works already).

Just adding my note to others, Pete, you are rare gem who takes the time to recognize the efforts of your employees. The Podcast team and Dreams Unlimited is the best! Hope to be on the next cruise! I'm marking dates now :)

Although we were unable to participate in the cruise, I have no doubt whatsoever that it truly was second to NONE! The teamwork, passion and dedication of this group comes thru LOUD & CLEAR in each and every podcast!! Congrats on a job well done .....

now .... What's DIS-A-Palooza?!?!? :confused3

Pete that is just so cool of you to say that about your team for everyone here to see. All of you just fit together perfectly and are a well oiled machine!! Congratulations on such an outstanding event! (I hope to join the next one!!)

The folks at Disney were amazing. Honestly, they bent over backwards to accommodate us, and they were completely won over by our group. I can't tell you how many crew members told me what an incredible group we had - how nice and how generous they all were. I was asked at least a half a dozen times "when are you guys coming back".

So does this mean that *maybe...just maybe* Palo brunch is on for Podcast Cruise 2.0....?:rolleyes1:rotfl2:

I CANNOT WAIT to hear the podcast!!!!!!

You are truly a great man to publicly acknowledge how grateful you are to have such an excellent team! :thumbsup2
I am certain it is because you are who you are that you have such a great team!

I wish we could have joined you on this WONDERful cruise- but it was not to be. I hope we can participate in some of the upcoming events.

Pete even though I was unable to go on the cruise I would like to say you and the team make my day every week. So I can only imagine the fantastic job that you all did with all the podcast cruisers.
Way to go keep up the great work, you and the team are truly one of a kind!!! :thumbsup2

Pete,

You do in fact have a great team. It's wonderful how you acknowledge them and take care of them. I certainly hope we can go on the next Podcast cruise with an outstanding bunch of Diser's.

I'm looking forward to meeting some of you at DL in September. :cool1:

I've told this to everyone I talked to on the cruise, but I want to say it here as well.

I have the best team EVER. When I say that the podcast cruise was a team effort, I mean it sincerely. The reason we kick the @ss of every other site, travel agency and podcast out there is because I have a team that is second to none - and if anyone doubts it, I submit this podcast cruise as exhibit A to prove my point.

From the designs, to the parties, to the drink coupons, to the podcast, to the planning and execution EVERYTHING was done perfectly - not well, not very good - it was FLAWLESS.

I'm so incredibly proud and honored to be surrounded by such talent - you've always made me look much better than I really am, but never more than you did this past week. Teresa, Kathy, Julie, Walter, Corey, Tracey, Kevin and John - you were nothing short of amazing in realizing this vision.

I'm walking on air right now, along with about 300 other people due in large measure to the incredible work you all did.

I'll never be able to thank you enough for your efforts - It was a wonderful week.

Just needed to make sure I said it where EVERYONE could hear it!!!

Pete

Oh, I forgot to add one other comment to the above....

"Now get back to work" :rotfl:

I am in awe right now. Still taking in how fantastic this experience really was.
Can't imagine a Disney Cruise without the 'Dream Team', an extended family if you will. If it wasn't for all of you I wouldn't have met so many amazing people including my new mom Carol (DisneyEnabler)!!!
I'm a man who can hold my own but I'm telling you I was close to tears leaving that port today. I always say that good things come to those that wait and you truly have made our dreams come true.

Can't wait to join you on the next one. A big thumbs up to the Dis, just as my pose in the group photo!!!

It's gonna be a long time before I come down from the high you have left me on. You're all so real and you'll continue to shine for years to come.

I don't usually post that often but this is something I am passionate about - you guys. Thanks y'all & see y'all next December - you just try and stop me!

Gav

Pete, Kudos to you for all that you do, and for acknowledging that it takes the whole crew to make the magic. You and the team really do make magic.

It took me two hours to post that - dang nabbit Iphone with it's pesky weenie keys and my stubby fingers. It's the Wii Fat effect! There that's better now I can get some rest for the drink around the world tomorrow!

I think the lack of sleep (too much fun) is starting to get to me. Are there eyes following me? Oh wait, that's just in the Wonder's Walt Disney Suite - such a treat for John & Kevin!

You guys did a great job on everything. All the events went smoothly from what I can tell so either they were flawless or the cracks were pved over far in advance of the event.

It was great meeting everyone not only on the team but all you people on the boards. It is always weird meeting online friends in person but it was a lot of fun. Now off to facebook to see how many friend request I have.

Oh, and I think for the rest of my life I will hear the "I kissed a girl and I liked it" song in a Dutch accent...thanks Yvette.
