To many people on the adr's, will it be a problem?

I have a couple of adr's for my next trip that are for 3 people, but as it turns out there will only be two people going to. Will this be a problem?

Not sure. Have you tried booking another reservation for 2 - and then cancelling the one for 3 ?

Make sure you don't cancel your reservation until you have another one confirmed though !!

Yes I have already tried that and done it with the ones I could find open spot's for, but the more popular places are full for our dates.

I don't think it should be a problem. On our last trip, we had reservations for dinner at Le Cellier for 4 of us. Unfortunately, my husband got sick and had to go back to our room. They took the 3 of us with no problem at all. I would still suggest checking periodically to see if a reservation for 2 opens up. It's the polite thing to do. Otherwise, go and enjoy.

Well, 2 solutions come to mind. Call Disney to ask (expensive long distance call) or log into their website on line. Sometimes a box will appear allowing you the option to live chat with a Disney CM - you can ask them anything

Should not be a problem. During our visit in May, all of our ADR's were for 4 but only 3 of us went to every one. No questions asked. I even went to one alone where the ressie was for 4 and no problem.

As long as you didn't have to put a credit card down for them, then you'll be fine. I regularly make reservations for 2 instead of 1 due to different tables opening up and haven't had a single problem.

Reducing the number at the podium is far easier than increasing!

However, as mentioned, if you have put a CC down for any of them that are still at 3, you're going to need to call Disney Dining and get the number adjusted, you can (and often will) be charged the cancellation/no show fee even for partial parties.

Last time we went we had a four person reservation for Crystal Palace, though one person cancelled. We had no issues. I just told the person at check in.

It's not a problem at all. To be polite, if this happens I usually call the dining # the day of to let them know. They won't take away your reservation, if that's what you're worried about.:)
