I currently have an IPod touch and love it. The only thing I miss is not being able to use it as a phone and to look at sites when wi-fi is not available. I currently use Net10 for phone carrier.

I'm trying to decide if I should invest in the IPhone with AT & T or if there is another phone out there to meet my needs.

I don't make alot of phone calls but do like to check my facebook, email and play a game or two (Angry Birds!).

Anyone have any opinions?

Thanks!

I was similar to you.
I had a I-pod touch and a blackberry.
I never really bonded with the blackberry and loved the touch

So the I -phone was a very natural transition for me. I like checking my email, playing angry birds, taking quick pics, and using the alarm and calendar.
My least favorite thing is the texting. I find it hard to hit the right letter and I get frustrated with the feature that corrects my spelling and finishes my words (but not enough to turn that part off- it gets it right about 50% of the time).

Anyway I am glad I got the I-phone -if you like using your touch I think you will enjoy the phone.

I really love my IPHONE. It took me a bit to get used to it, but find I am not sure how I lived without it. LOVE angry birds!!!!!!

The texting for me is MUCH better sideways. The auto correct can be annoying, but I don't turn it off either :lmao:

I replaced my Razor with an IPhone last February. Love it! My personal e-mail and facebook are blocked from my computer at work so it's nice that I can check them at lunch time at work. Plus I used the lines app at Disneyland last month, that was great!

I use my iphone for so many things. Checking email, facebook, restaurants, twitter, watching youtube, playing games, taking pictures (love that feature!).

Well you get the idea. My cell phone service is through Verizon with no complaints.

I've had it for a month and only recently bought my first app. Every other app I found was free.

I was a blackberry girl, but for various reasons (major one being the near-constant need to reset the phone) I decided to try the iphone when my upgrade rolled around. I am so glad I did! I absolutely love it - does everything I need it to & some things I had no idea how much I needed till I got it :rotfl:

5 will be out soon ...so wait a bit

I just got a new IPhone but with Verizon. My DH had an Iphone with AT&T and we switched. I will never, never, ever, never deal with AT&T again. And my local Verizon is great!

Oh, and for IPhone 5, I would wait a bit. I am a BIG Mac person (Audio/Video industry) but I know that when Apple releases something there is usually a bug or two to work out.

I love my iPhone! As others have mentioned, you might want to wait for the iPhone5 since it's coming out at the end of the summer.

If you are enjoying your iPod Touch that much, you will love an iPhone, but just be aware that your cell phone plan will likely be more than your current one since you'll need to include a data package (assuming you don't have a data package already).

Andriod is more popular than the iPhone...iPhone is just more trendy. So if your a snob go iPhone, if you want to have a good phone choose one that utilizes the Andriod OS.

Thanks for the info.

How will the 5 be different from the 4?

Thanks.

It's not necessarily about popularity (wow, pot meet kettle). I am in the audio/video production business, hence, Macintosh pretty much every computer. My mobile me calendar does not sync with Android, hence the IPhone.

Speculation is that it's not the iPhone 5 but an iPhone 4gs coming out with just a few tweaks.

I have the iPad, an iPod Touch and I'm not on my second iphone, the 4. My 3GS was passed down to my DD8. I can't imagine not having my iPhone at my side.
