To Infinity and The Contemporary!

I am so sorry to hear that you had to go through all that  I've never stayed concierge but if I ever did and I received that kind of service, I would have been pi$$ed!! I would have gone directly to a manager after that check-in ordeal!!! :rolleyes2

A huge part of what you pay for is the extra service, and that was poor service for a regular guest, nevermind a concierge guest! :sad2:

I hope the service only gets better from here on in :thumbsup2 Looking forward to the rest :cool1:

I'm hoping the conversation next door to you didn't keep you up too long. We're worried about the same thing on the cruise this year as we have a connecting cabin with some "questionable" guests. :rotfl2: (Just kidding, Jeff).

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

And shame on Disney for that little mug trick!!! :snooty:

I woke up early the next morning and this is what I had for breakfast:

You're right! It was so disappointing because we looked forward to it for so long and Frank spent a gazillion DVC points. I'm just glad that I was able to get a bunch of the bad stuff out of the way before he got there. The concierge service was definitely better after the 1st day. But the housekeeping has some interesting quirks that I'll get into later. ;)

And shame on Disney for that little mug trick!!! :snooty:

You know, I thought that was pretty sleezy too. I was really in the mood for a Diet Coke but I wasn't going to pay $12.95 (or whatever it was) for it. So I got a water and a free Diet Coke when I got upstairs :thumbsup2

No pancakes that day. But I did have pancakes for dinner tonight :thumbsup2 - for some reason I regress when I don't feel good and pancakes hit the spot tonight!

You are such a great story teller, this is very enjoyable to read. Keep it up with the wonderful pictures. Next time I want to be tink!!

Aw, thanks Joanne. Tink is lobbying to go on the B.O.B. cruise now that she heard that Capt. Jack Sparrow monkey is going! He is very handsome.

Well I'm glad I wasn't the only one who saw pickles! :rotfl2:

Hey Kathy, next time you go why don't you just use an old mug that "never" expires?? :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: No flaming people....I'm just kidding. :goodvibes

You guys had the most wonderful view evah! After all that poo you had to wade through just getting there, you deserved the best. :grouphug:

Nancy has one, I have one, Heather has one, Brenda has the original Planky and a second... not sure if anyone else has one, but there will be quite a few Plankys onboard:goodvibes

Tink, don't fall for this picture. That Plankton is an impostor I tell ya! An Impostor! This is the real Plankton:

I have almost convinced Tink's mommy to let her come on the cruise - but this tequila-guzzling Planky is making her a little nervous. Is he always this bad???

I was afraid to mention the mug thing, I didn't want you to have flashbacks! :lmao:

The view definitely made up for the crazy check in. And, as I post more of the report, you'll see that the problems at the beginning were nothing really. We had an incredible trip!

Sorry to say, Yes. But, what the heck, it's a cruise....go for it Tink. We won't tell (much). Just be careful of any cameras and shots taken in the Rockin' Bar D. "Somehow" they end up on the Dumbotron. :rotfl2:

The mug thing is 4 years old already. Now it's just plain funny. :goodvibes
Can't wait to hear the rest Kathy. :thumbsup2

Oh yeah, Captain Jack likey the red dress look!!!

Hey Mr. Andy - could you give Capt Jack a message for me please???

Hi Capt Jack

My Mommy just said I could come on the cruise!!! :yay:

She even said I could borrow some of my sister Twinkles clothes (I don't know how Twinkles is going to feel about that :sad2: ). Guess what? Twinkles has a red (and white) dress! Aunt Kathy is going to have to get me my own suitcase!

Yippee :yay:

Hiya Everybody!

On Monday morning, we hopped on the monorail for a quick trip over to the Polynesian for our character breakfast at 'Ohana. (It is soooo cool to have the monorail right in the building! :cool1: ) I don't know who was more excited - me or Tink! This has become one of my favorite things to do at Disney. Here are my Top Ten Reasons for loving the 'Ohana Character Breakfast:

10) The relaxed atmosphere
9) The view of the Seven Seas Lagoon
8) I love the Polynesian and all things Hawaiian.
7) How about that yummy pineapple bread?
6) The Keiki parade and the Hawaiian Roller Coaster song
5) You don't have to order - they just keep bringing you food!
4) Breakfast is my favorite meal. (Sometimes I have breakfast for dinner!)
3) Mickey & Pluto & Lilo & Stitch
2) The AMAZING fruit juice!

And finally: (drumroll)

1) Mickey Mouse waffles!

We had a 7:30 AM reservation (yes, we are an early rising family!) and we were the first ones to check in. We got our pictures taken and waited to be seated.

Tink waiting patiently for the beeper to go off:

We were the first ones seated and we got a table facing the lagoon! The host gave us some yummy pineapple bread and fresh fruit to munch on while we waited for our server. There was even a chair for Tink:

Our server brought us coffee and tea and a pitcher of the most yummy, yummy fruit juice. It was a mix of orange and passion fruit juice! Then the rest of the food arrived: scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and biscuits. Last but not least were the MICKEY WAFFLES!!! Now, I guess I SHOULD feel guilty about eating waffles that are shaped like Mickey's head. :guilty: But after the first bite I usually get over it. This time was no exception. The are so light and fluffy and they just keep bringing them! Yum Yum :cloud9: Here's Frank, about to dig into one:

Is it me, or does he have a goofy look on his face? :lmao:

While we were chowing down, our character friends started to visit our table. First Stitch:

Then Lilo:

Then Mickey arrived in his Hawaiian finery:

And last but not least, Pluto!:

Tink got her picture taken with everybody too, but those pictures are on HER trip report!

At some point, the children were rounded up for the Keiki Parade. I'm so glad they now use the Hawaiian Roller Coaster song from Lilo & Stitch - it's so much fun! We had a very enthusiastic group of kids that really seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Finally, with our tummies full of Mickey waffles and yummy juice, we dragged ourselves out of our chairs and headed back to the monorail for our trip to the Magic Kingdom.

Until the next time, bye bye 'Ohana!
