To Hop or NOT to Hop (2 days)

Tickets were put into the machine and an error ticket popped out. My wife then asked the cast member what this meant and he told her that since the tickets had not been used to enter that particular park yet that day that a fastpass could not be obtained yet.

That is very interesting . . . have never known that to happen. I wonder if you had entered both parks in the day, but were in the opposite park, if that would happen. We hop pretty much every day we go, but I can't remember since the change to enforcing the time of fast-passes if we've actually gotten fast passes for the other park. We generally use the fastpasses we have and then hop. I'd love to hear other reports about this.
