My last 3 trips have been solo and have enjoyed all three trips including spending time with fellow Dis'ers.

My next trip will be with my 13 year-old daughter.

I wish I could always go solo! :rotfl:

My first solo was last October, and I had the best time! I'm going with the family again in June, but am hoping to fit in another solo trip in the fall.

And, please don't feel bad for me being alone. It's the one time that I get to do whatever I want to do with no schedule, no plans, no worrying that this one needs to see that, and that one must ride this or the entire trip is ruined!

No, I don't get lonely. How could I? There are parks full of people! Maybe I'm strange, but there was the occasional day where I couldn't wait to get back to my room just to be alone for a bit!

If you want to go, then go and have a great time!

Hi,

I echo what everyone has said.

I've posted this on other similar topics and I will post it here: If I waited for someone to go with me, anywhere, I would never leave home.

I'll be going on my first solo trip to WDW at the end of April. Have always gone with family or "current woman in life", but figured if I wait until I have someone to go with again, it might be awhile! (LOL!) Besides, I'm looking forward to going for all the reasons given above. I'm staying where I want, sticking to (or not sticking to) the schedules I want. Spending what I want (that's a big there!!) etc. etc. I have traveled alone before, but always for business or was meeting ppl at destination. This is my first solo vacation, and I'm getting pretty psyched about it. So I would vote to just go. Don't wait, or you might never go!

I have been several times with friends and family and as a solo. I enjoy solo much more. When I'm by myself I never have to justify the money I spend. Also you will be surprised how much people talk in line esp. if you have a book:rotfl:
