I'm getting the regular dining plan and was wondering if table service restaurants will give you dessert in a to go box? Anyone have any problems with this?
I'll probably have some of my meal leftover as well - are they ok giving to go boxes?

We'll be eating at:
Marrakesh
Spoodles
50's Primetime
San Angel Inn
Kona Cafe

I'll be eating at Boma, but I'm pretty sure to go boxes are frowned upon there. :lmao:

Between my parents and I we usually have at least one to go box (if not more). I don't generally have a problem getting things packed up to go. The only time I had an issue was at Olivia's where they would not box our desserts in the kitchen but instead had to first bring them to the table and then they could be boxed to go.

At Kona, I wasn't feeling well and we left after eating our entrees - the server had not problem packing us each up a dessert (along with most of my dinner - in a separate box of course) to take back to the hotel.

One thing that I have found helpful when packing up leftovers is to cut up the meat before you leave the restaurant - I often can't finish my steak (but it's too good to leave behind and adds a nice protein boost when eaten along side a breakfast pastry). I always slice up the steak using the sharp knife in the restaurant and then put it in the to go box.

Plastic knives don't cut steak.
