To go or not to go, that is the question

I bought my DH tickets to the NE Pats game on Jan. 2nd. Of course, we live in Florida, but he is thrilled. Now, he wants me to go with him but I am not convinced. I thought he would want to go with a buddy.

Cons:
-I HATE to fly. Seriously. (Which is funny since DH is a pilot. Whatever.)

-A weekend away from the kids when we are spending the next weekend away for the Disney Marathon.

-It's going to be seriously cold!

Pros:
-Get to see a Pats game.

-Get another weekend away with DH.

-Get away from my MIL who will have been at my house since Xmas. ;)

I don't know. What do I do? Get a Xanax and suck it up even if that means leaving the kids the 1st-3rd and then again the 6th-9th?

WWYD?

I'd go and it looks like you have a built-in sitter? Of course, I'm a huge Patriots fan so...

Tell him the truth. Men like all the facts they don't take things emotionally. Just tell him what you just said here and see what he says. He may think since you bought the tickets he should ask you first and once you clear that up he may be more than willing to take someone else.
