to FP for parade or not

I have FPs for the parade next week. I figured this way we wouldn't need to line up early. Buy then I realized it's supposed to be hot and the FP area is right out in the direct sun. Would you use the FP or just go to frontier land to watch? I heard the dragon doesn't breathe fire in frontier land and I can't decide if that's a breaking point.....

If we keep the fast passes do we need to be there 30+ mins before the return time to get front row seats?

2. I'd go to a spot near Hall of Presidents.
3. Not necessarily.

How early would you suggest getting the spot? Its a recommended park but a crowd level 5. We have 1255 BOG lunch reservations.....

Show up in Frontierland or near Hall of Presidents 45 min., or so, before the start-time.
