To everyone who thinks WDW is less than it use to be.

Lets forget about service, cleanliness, and all that stuff and look at THRILL RIDES:

Cedar Point>WDW
IOA/USF>WDW
Six Flags Theme Parks>WDW
Busch Garderns>WDW

If I want to visit a beautiful, pleasant, family friendly place for a vacation that I will remember for a lifetime, I will visit Walt Disney World.

If I want to be blown out of my mind by intense roller coasters, I go to Cedar Point and Six Flags.

Don't go to Six Flags/Cedar Point expecting the family vacation of a lifetime, you will disappointed. Go expecting some of the best thrill rides in the world.

Living in South Carolina, I am constantly told that I must be "RICH" to be able to go to Disney as often as we do. My reply is to ask where that person usually goes on vacation.

Most times the answer is "We rent a house or condo at the beach." This allows them to frolic in the ocean (If the weather is not too cold or a hurricane is not brewing off shore)

I then try to get the person to compare the price they pay for the house, food, entertainment etc, and prove to them that Myrtle Beach, Edisto Island, Hilton Head Island and Fripp Island all usually cost more than Disney, and do not provide near the entertainment.

I have even instigated a few trips to Disney after facts were discussed and they realized that Disney was in their budget range.
