Another one for EPCOT here. Just the world showcase alone is enough to keep little one's happy. ON our first trip, my kids, DS6, DD4, DD2, got a little overwhelmed by the pace of touring the parks...the BIG characters...the THRILLING rides.
They loved the slow pace of EPCOT. We did the Kidcot Funstops and made masks. They watched the minature train in Germany dfor a half hour, running backa nd forth to see where it was going. They loved the bands and the JApanese drummers. They liked meeting people from different countries, and seeing the shows in the courtyards.
They also enjoyed the The Living Seas and Space Ship Earth and the boat ride in Mexico. Mt son loved the Ellen's Energy ride, but it was intense for my little girls.
The two things that stand out in my mind most are...my son getting DRENCHED and having a ball in the fountain that comes out of the sidewalk between the WS and FW...and my two year old chasing the lights that "magically" appear on the sidewalks by Spaceship Earth and the exit.
EPCOT was slow paced, enchanting family time. My husband and I got to talk, try some new foods, enjoy a beer and to really enjoy our children there.
I wouldn't pass it up. It's our favorite.
