To EMH or Not to EMH?

That is the question.

I've been reading that AM EMH are considered the busiest days for those parks now since everyone flocks to them.. Is this true? Thoughts? Opinions?

IMO you'll still find a lot of people do not get up that early, even for EMH. Especially if it's a 7 am EMH. Now whether it's worth it or not depends on what park and your plans for the day. MK - I'd say worth it b/c you can always find an open ride to get on. HS - I can't voice an opinion on fact since I haven't been their since TSL opened, but I'm assuming it would still be a little tight with limited attractions (by total number) and everyone wanting to do TSL. We've typically hit up EMH, did as much as possible, then when the park got too packed, bounced over to another park.

If we do AM EMH we stay until about noon and then leave that park. That’s when i notice the crowds getting heavier. If i didn’t have hoppers i would avoid EMH parks.

What most people have said is spot on. You really can get a lot done during EMH, especially at MK. That hour (or two) are really a good time to get on several rides with little to no wait. But those day historically are the busiest days for those parks, so bouncing to another park is no the worst idea.

We love AM and PM EMH, and we usually knock out a lot during AM EMH. Depending on the overall schedule while we're there, we will hang at the park until midday, then either take a break and go back to our resort or call it a day. Just depends. We're early birds we like them.

We love the mornings (well half of us do). I'm all for getting up and getting to the parks super early. Knock out the most important stuff then back to the pool to relax for the afternoon. New park in the evening!

Between EMH and FP+ I don't wait more than maybe 30 minutes for anything. Usually much less.

None of my family including myself are really morning people but the benefit at Disney is too good to pass up. I can rest in the afternoon, dozing off by the pool with a drink in my hand.
