To CL or not to CL

We are planning to go to WDW in July. We are going with 2 other families that have timeshare at the BCV and would like to stay either at the BC or YC. We have a res. at the BC already but we're starting to think that the CL may be better. Has anyone recently stayed on the CL at the BC or YC and is one better then the other? Our DS is 9 and behaves very well. We keep hearing about cut backs and so we wonder if CL is really worth the extra money. We'll be there for 7 days. If any of you have been there recently we'd appreciate any advise you can give us.

What is CL?

Edited to add do you mean concierge?

I think you'd have a better answer if you ask this on the planning board.
