Hi, I'm planning a trip to US in Sept and was wondering what you all think about the need for a car. I'm staying at the Holiday Inn Universal Studios (Any Coments??) and plan on checking out Disney one day. I hate driving when I don't know where I'm going so does anyone know of a company that rents cars with GPS or On- Star Navigation?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Johnny

Hi, Johnny:

I would call the rental companies to ask about the directional machinery information but I'm not sure how badly you'll need it. I use National in Orlando and they give incredibly good and easy to read instruction cards when you pick the car up.

Orlando is surprisingly easy to navigate. I also HATE driving but I have no problem getting around O-town. Especially the ride between USF and Disney. The route is clearly marked on I-4 so you won't have a problem at all. I wish I could say that about Atlanta..

Holiday Inn gets very good reviews on this board. My co worker stayed there in February and gave it a big thumbs up. It's right across the street from the parking garage on Kirkman Rd so it's a good location.

Hope that helps and
welcome!.gif
