We do free dining every year, and this year my new :goodvibes DH's sister, hubbie, and her kids (3 + infant) and his parents want to do a joint trip b/c of how much we have talked up free dinning. Now should I book now or wait? I know free dinning fills up usually within a few weeks but is this year a little slower? I'm concerned b/c MIL saw ads on TV for it so it sounds as if they are beefing up the advertising this year. The only reason I am hesitant to book is we (literally today:a few hours ago) put in a bid on a new house, and my BIL will find out monday if he keeps his job. Depending on how these things work out we may not end up going or only half the group may go, etc. We are looking to get a value room either way, but possibly a ASMu suite and 1 standard room or 2 suites. Do you think these will book up quickly, should I book it now? Or should I wait and see what is going to happen financially with both familes?

In a nutshell is it totally selfish of me to book our rooms now to 'hold' them and potentially have to cancel one or both of them later on? I dont want to miss the deal but on the other hand I dont want to keep someone else from getting it either. Thanks for your opinions.

Book the rooms now. Most people are in the same boat. With this economy any one of us could have to cancel. Secure the deal and if you have to cancel then so be it. Do you really want to miss out on that savings? Imagine sitting down to eat next to someone who got FREE dining and you didn't because you waited. There are plenty of rooms to go around!

Book now. We are booked are just hoping US exchange rate improves. (From Canada).

If the rate gets worse we will likely cancel but I'm hoping right now to go.

BOOK, I did with the hopes that we will still be able to go, Free Dining is a huge savings for us. family of 5 all adult rates, We did it in Dec for Christmas and of course paid for it, so I know what a great value it will be. Good Luck to all who are booking and hoping!!!

FD is a GREAT way to help with the budget, can I ask if your kids missed school, I am planning in switching our June VAC for a Sept VAC to take advantage for the FD but will have to take our kids out of school.....

No we have one in High School, One in Middle School and One in Elementary, it is just to hard for the high school and middle schooler to miss and then try to make up work. Attendance policies are pretty strick for us.

Book now - you can always cancel later.

Best wishes to everyone - I hope we all can wind up going.

Thanks for your reply, I am now working with both of the schools to see what can be done....
