With all this crappy weather I am having major Disney withdrawals.

So for all of you like me that has time to chat today :

If you only had one day to be in Disney - which 6 rides/attractions would you make it too and why???

Hopefully the mark on your Christmas Card will help when you get it Mel

1. Haunted Mansion (favorite)
2. Pirates of the Carribean (favorite)
3. Wishes (favorite, that I get a little bummed about when its a different version)
4. Big Thunder Mountain (especially at night)
5. Soarin'
6. Tower of Terror (new favorite)
and there could definitely be others to add.

I have heard of it but most of my time in the INDY area was actually INDY... in fact I was there a few months ago for work...

Okay, B'burg is 25 minutes west of INdianapolis.

1~Tower of Terror..because it is now my favorite ride and I will never forget my knees shaking and standing there telling Genesis why oh why am I doing this for you, I dont want to ride this ride, I cannot believe I am doing this....lolrof...(yes, I was scared to death the first, second and third times I rode the Tot..hard to believe now)

2~Splash Mountain...because it has so many wonderful memories attached to it, I love the whole scenery and theme behind it, and I love water rides and it is the only thing I can get G to ride that involves water, because I made him ride so many water rides when he was younger he is sick of them...lol Plus the memories I will cherish of the excitement on Maries face when she rides it, it is her favorite ride...

3~Soarin...and always hope to get front row...I love everything about it and it is nice to feel as if I am right there in the middle of Tinkerbell and the magic at the ending

4~Carousel of Progress...because to me that is just Walt in so many ways and altho its not a part of it I have to add the people mover to this as it is one of my MUST DO's every visit

5~EE...because once again I just love everything about this ride..Its not spectacular as far as Roller Coasters go, its actually pretty mild, but just a lot of wonderful memories attached to it

6~ Last but DEFINITELY not least...and I know this is not a ride, but is a MUST SEE for me....WISHES...because I can forget and just believe in magic...I have never seen Wishes without tears clouding my eyes........

What is it about Wishes that makes us tear up? The same happens to me when I am in the MK at night and hear "When you wish upon a star" Gets me every time! Guess it's like you say.. one can forget our everyday woes and just be in our happy place surrounded my magic.

Oh, and I forgot about People Mover.. that's my #7 fav ride!

Regardless of anytime that I go..it is not really Disney til I hit MK and see the Castle...and my last night it is MANDATORY I have to watch Wishes and turn around and look back at the Castle as I say my goodbyes for this visit... (yes, I know I am a big dork...lol)
and as for B-burg...I am trying to think of the place I was in when I just went to Indy as I was about 25 miles WEST of the airport...I still have so many wonderful friends in Indy area, and my brother still lives around Vincennes...just have to always visit during the summer...lol

I always mail my cards from Disney... just they took away the post office at DTD and not sure if they are going to bring it back. And MK doesnt do a post mark like the others do, or so Cait and I were told when we mailed them.
