Okay I know someone is going to  and :sad2: but I am a wrestling fan and my kids also like to attend in person, but not so much watch it on TV. They realy enjoyed it when TNA came to Louisville last year and have been asking when they are coming back. Since they liked it so much I thought I would take them to the TV tapings when we are down there next year, they would really be excited if they saw themselves on TV. Just wondering has anyone every attended the TNA tapings at Universal Studios? I was just curious as to how it worked getting into the tapings since they have limited seating.

Thanks

The seating is on a first come basis. The line usually starts forming around 4:00 PM. Those who are in the park get in first. They line up near twister (in the boneyard). Then those who are outside the park get in. They come in near the Hard Rock Cafel. Your chances for getting in are very good if you are inside the park. The only ones that are hard to get into are the PPV tapings. Wrestling is usually on a Sunday and Monday every two weeks but the schedule is usually released only a month or two early so I'm not sure of the summer tapings, if any. Your best bet is to check the TNA website for taping dates or check here: http://www.universalorlando.com/shows/tna-wrestling.html If you need dates past May, you may have better luck finding them on the TNA website though.

The TNA website links you to the Universal site and right now the only dates it shows was this past sunday and just like phamton says you will probably have to wait a month before you get there to find out the dates :thumbsup2

I've been to a TNA taping. I was fortunate enough to go VIP. Basically, like the other posts say, you line up at around 4 PM or so depending on whether your in the park or not. They will seat you about 30 minutes prior to the show. I was there for Sacrifice in 2007. It's a real awesome show and the moves those X-Division guys do are just amazing.

My son loves wrestling! Is there an extra cost for this? How long does it usually last?

Thanks everyone!

It's free. if you are inside the park with a park ticket it is usually pretty easy to get in. If you are outside the park, it isn't always as easy to get a seat.

How long are the showspleas? My DS (age 15) wants to go and watch-the rest of us aren't interested. We were going to send him in on his own and meet him somewhere afterwards-any reccomendations for a meeting place?

It usually lasts about 2 hours but there is no set time. It just depends on how the taping goes. I'd set up a meeting place in Citywalk somewhere like in front of the Hard Rock Cafe. It would work out best if you both had cellphones and he could call you.

Thanks for the info-yes we will both have phones-just wanted to plan what was best to do whilst waiting for him-and if he would be out early enough for us all to eat together. Thanks for the help.
