The stress in my life is too overwhelming...I most of the time I just keep going like it doesn't effect me...Well now I have TMJ...due to stress...AAARRRRRRR!!!!

The dentist has given my Valium to try to destress me....maybe it will work...nothing else seems too...

I've lost 15 lbs...fluctuate about 3 lbs...and I think I'm going to take a break for a week or 2 until I feel less overwhelmed...maybe sooner if I get it under control..

I feel bad for not keeping up with this board but i just needed to just read for the past week..

I'm trying a chiropractor tomorrow...maybe that will help...

I want to try to start exercising but it's too hot and I get up for work too early (5:30)....I need to slow down but haven't figured out how yet..maybe soon..

I'm sooo sorry! Sometimes it's all too much! I get TMJ, too, I'll bet the chiropracter can help you - all it takes sometimes is jut a little adjustment and you'll feel sooo much better. Hang in there. Don't add anymore stress by worrying about exercise or wieghtloss right now. Juct concentrate on feeling better!

{{{{Hugs}}}} I have TMJ too, so I know how difficult that can be to deal with, especially when you are under a lot of stress. Be proud of what you have accomplished--15 pounds is terrific! :bounce: :Pinkbounc

I think we all need a break now and then. Just don't forget about us, okay? We will miss you around here!:D

Stress really does suck. I know that stress can definately cause tension. I would definately try a chiropractor. Maybe he can help relax your tension.
Congrats on the 15 pounds. Try to find some "ME" time and let your husband take over for a bit. Take a hot bath, read a book, go to bed early, go for a walk, etc.

Sorry your having such a tough time right now. Stress can really be rough on anyone's health. Take care and like Melanie said take some time for you.

The 15 lbs. is great! I'm stuck at 7lbs. Look at it this way even if you aren't at goal by Dec., you'll still be at WDW for Christmas!!!:p That's what I'm doing!
 
Kimball, don't worry about trying to lose more weight right now, just try to maintain what you have already lost.

Don't stop coming to WISH. We need your advice and great personality around here.

Remember this, WISH=We're Inspired to Stay Healthy. Getting rid of stress is part of staying healthy. You don't have to be trying to lose weight to visit WISH. Just come and visit with your friends. Who knows? Perhaps we can make you smile and smiling is a great way to destress :)
