Ok so this is my first trip report (we're going in May) we'll see how it goes, I'll make another one for our honeymoon (December this year) Suggestions on the first one will be great.
Well it's about that time for my next Disney trip which will be number 8 for me and number 5 for DF I think.
Ill start off with some introductions and then tell you more about our plans.
The Cast
Me/Tori/tlhbdm- I am a lifelong Disney fan. The first trip I took was in 1992 and I was 4 almost 5 years old. I don't really remember the trip but my parent's said I had a really good time. I stayed at CBR but again don't remember it. Then I went another two times in the 90s. Then when 2001 hit we went in March then 2002, 2005, 2006, and now twice in 2007. My 2006 trip was the one I got engaged to my DF. Now a little about him.
DF/Brandon/doesn't have a disboards sn- He is not as much as a Disney fan as I am but he loves Disney as well. He loves playing video games and misses them when we go on vacations. He has been 4 times I think maybe 5 and the last trip was the trip he proposed to me on.
This trip is just a get away nothing special but we need to get away, we both have been through a lot in the last year and NEED a break. At first we were going to drive to the World but after driving to Arizona in March to see my dad we decided it would be less expensive to fly than to drive. We are staying at pop Century for 5 nights, May 20-25th!
Heres a run down of what we have planned.
The Itinerary
Saturday(5/19)- Drive to Kansas City and spend the day there. Check into our hotel and get a good night's sleep.
Sunday (5/20): We have to wake up early to catch our plane at 7:30am but that means we are going to be at Disney by 10:30 and should be to our hotel before noon. This first day we have planned to go to EPCOT and have ADR for Rose and Crown at the right time to watch illuminations. Then we will probably go to MK for extra magic hours.
Monday (5/21): We are going to wake up early and go to MGM. We have ADR's at 50s Prime Time Cafe for lunch, so we'll eat lunch and then go to AK for the rest of the day.
Tuesday (5/22): MK day, we will be going to the MK so we can see the park opening. I'm sure we will do POTC like 15 times because it was closed the last time I was there. Then we have ADR's for Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner at 5:00pm.
Wednesday (5/23): We have breakfast reservations at Ohana, we have never had breakfast here before but are really excited because Stitch is there and he is my favorite character.
Then we'll probably spend the day at EPCOT.
Thursday (5/24): I think we might go to DTD for a while and finish off the day at MK. We have dinner reservations at Chef Mickey's at 6:00pm.
Friday (5/25): The day we leave
So, thats our plan. I willl do another one for our honeymoon and of course I will do one when we get back in May.
