TL strategy to get a chair in the shade?

I've seen this before and can't find it. We are planning on going to TL during our Thanksgiving trip. I'm very fair skinned and NEED a chair in the shade in addition to sun screen.

I know there was a post somewhere about going either right or left to get the best selection of them.

Any help?

We tend to sit on the left side of the wave pool. It seems like a hike to get there 1st thing in the morning, but it's pretty secluded & perfect for us! Just hike to the left, and there is a little drink stand/market on the right. It's right behind where the furthest lifeguard on the left sits. There are sunny and shaded spots, a few tables, and even a little picnic area that is never used! You would find plenty of shade there! We'll be hitting the same area twice during our trip in 2 weeks!!

There are lots of chairs both left and right, but you have to get there before park opening to get a good spot in the shade.

Get there before park opening and RUN. That's the only way you'll do it!!
