TL or BB-which one is "tamer"?

We're not so much thrill seekers, just want to enjoy a day of fun and sun. Which one has more mellow attractions? In your opinion, what is the absolute "best" slide/attraction and which water park is it in?

Haven't been in a few years, I think they've added things at both, but the opinions here are that Blizzard Beach is more "wild". More slides that teens and older will enjoy. The best part of BB for us is the family raft ride.

We like TL better, mainly because of the wave pool. It has 6 foot waves, and it's a blast. The pool at BB gets choppy water, but no giant waves. For us, TL wins!

I have never been to TL, but we went to BB 3 times our last visit. I have a disabled daughter and I am very protective of her. She loved it. Of course there were rides we didn't go on, but I was surprised how many we could do. I had never taken her to a water park before, so I was not sure what to expect. We are non-swimmers.

I've been to both and I'd have to characterize TL as a little more "mellow" than BB. They both have children's areas and lazy rivers that are fairly comparable. TL has the wave pool and the shark reef. BB's slides are a little more spread out and a little wilder. One thing of note for my family was the family is that we really preferred the family raft ride at BB. Although the one at BB was fast, we liked it better because you weren't getting constantly pummeled in the face with water like you do on the one in TL.

We LOVE the wave pool, so TL is our favorite. We had a great time at Blizzard Beach, too.

I have been to both and I think TL is much milder then BB. Just MHO
