Thanks so much LITC! Feel better, sweetie. Its just the baby getting ready to come out and meet all of us!

Racetrack is just so talented! Did you find a violin?

Yeah, found one. And now she wants to learn to play the sax. And DD6 wants to learn to play the drums. This is going to be an interesting next couple of years.

"interesting" You are such a great mom. Its going to be loud! Maybe you can make your own band!

Wanna hear something funny? I got a call from my nanny! She lived with us until I was about ten. She saw me on tv and had to call and say congrats! I haven't heard from her in years!

OK I was going to try and catch up, but the dis is waaaaaaaaay to slow for that right now. Plus I am not feeling my best, my tummy has been upset something terrible today. Thinking of just throwing in the towel and going to bed early.
Be happy all you're "throwing" is "in the towel" and not up. :rotfl2: Sorry, that was a sick joke. :lmao::lmao:

Now you know why it always takes me so long to reply. I always have to double check that I'm typing the right thing in the right place. :lmao: And I'm talking on the phone at the same time. I"m lucky that I'm not typing what I"m saying. :rotfl2:
If you're talking to DH, then we're happy you're not typing that.

DS11 is learning drums for band this fall. He's actually pretty good, so I won't complain.

MK, that 's pretty cool about your nanny. But, you had a nanny? Was she a prim and proper English nanny?

D&D, you are on a roll tonight. :rotfl2: And sweet innocent me, saying things on the phone that I couldn't type here. :rolleyes1 You really are joking. :rotfl2:

We called my nanny Auntie. She was Filipino, but she came from Spain. Don't ask, I don't know. She was rather prim, really big into manners. Really drilled into us that we were a reflection of the family. She was fun too. She was really into Barry Manilow. Took me to my first concert---Kenny Rogers!

We only had a nanny coz my parents worked crazy hours and you know, child protection and all, we weren't allowed to be left home alone. I guess you could call her a live-in babysitter, but that's too much of a mouthful.

I hope old boyfriends don't come calling! The show hasn't been shown on the West coast, so I'm worrying about those people calling me!

Really, everyone has been so wonderful about me being a big fat loser. Its so heartwarming.

Maybe all these talented kids will hit it big and take care of us! Go little musicians go! Auntie Bobbie wants to live a life of luxury!

Hopefully not Nanny McFee. Saw that movie this weekend and the kids even thought it was wierd.

Race - You're right. You're probably discussing why you didn't start Stewart this weekend. ;)

Yeah, but that's just one kid. Add in the violin (she sounds good) but also the sax. And I know DD8 has mentioned both the clarinet and flute in passing. Do you know what my house is going to sound like. Know any good brands for those headphones that block out all noise?

Ok, MK, Auntie Bobbie it is. When the kids hit it big and they pull some strings to get the Magic Kingdom rented for a night, you'll be right on list. :thumbsup2 Yeah, don't we wish. :rotfl2:

Race, repeat after me.....B-O-S-E. Again, B-O-S-E. Noise cancelling headphones. Quite possibly the most blessed things on earth. Its a bit of an investment, but with all that practicing going on, it may be worth it!

Or Sennheiser. They're good too. You can get lucky and find them sometimes at TJ Maxx or Marshalls.

I bought a pair of those for my first NASCAR race at MI. Can't remember brand name. :scratchin

Cool!!! And I'll just buy one pair and let Curt suffer. :rotfl2::rotfl2: Or if I'm feeling nice that day, maybe I'll throw some cotton balls at him.

MK, repeat after me

"I am NOT a big fat loser! I am the MagiKitty and I ROCK!!"

I thought you looked great! And when they call you back, you will be that much faster becuase you will be less nervous.

OK, you guys want to talk about painful "music" from your kids? I brought DS a set of bagpipes from Scotland!:scared1: Oh boy, I am in for a treat...:rotfl2:

Well ladies...its been fun, but I've got to go fill out forms and write checks for kids school fees. Tomorrow is the day to take all this fun stuff into school.

Buenos noches!

What were you thinking girl????

Wendy, how exactly did you get bagpipes in your luggage? Wow, this is going to be fun!

 I am MagiKitty and my friend Wendy and everyone else on the Dis rocks!

Maybe for next year's meet we should have all the kids perform for us.
Well either be :dancer: or
