Kerrie...I practically tackled Marie when I saw her. I saw her in the distance and took off running to get on line. BF didn't even recognize her. He kept going towards Norway (our brekkie ressie). It totally made my day. She was with Mary Poppins, who was wonderful!

I think my girls might have tackled her, too, if I hadn't restrained them. She was by herself, only a handler, no photographer. The line was never more than 4 long. She was great, too, nuzzling them just like a kitten. Before that we saw Pluto, between Pluto and Marie, DD10's day was made.

I'm going to have to try out the way you did it. DD8 was so disappointed the last time we were there and she didn't get picked.

Pikester, aren't you hitting Universal next year? You're going to have so much fun there.

I hope so. We purchased the last of the $99 tickets so we are all set with that. Now I have my fingers crossed that they'll be running a room special during the time that we want to go. I also need to figure out when that "time" will be. DH mentioned April vacation so that means around this time (we're on school vacation right now) and I thought maybe as soon as school gets our for the summer. That would be the end of June. I want the kids to have pool weather so we can enjoy swimming and it would be nice not to have to hurry back so because school will be starting. It's not like we have unlimited funds but we could stay at Universal for a few days and then maybe check out the Gulf Coast for something. Not sure.

Pikester, we visited St. Pete's on the Gulf coast a few years ago and it was so nice. Just a totally relaxing time. The beach is really nice and BIL took us to some great restaurant right on the beach. I totally loved it.

Ugh, I think my printer is about to go. For the longest time, the scanner wouldn't work. Now that's working but the fax part won't work. And DH needs to fax paperwork into the office every night. Looks like we'll be taking a trip to the store this week for a new one.

I've been looking at St. Pete's and Clearwater. Since I brought up going on a Disney Cruise with Mom in 2012 DH has been hemming and hawwing about Universal next year. I'm hoping that money works out so we can do both.
