Evening everyone! Still cold and windy here, but sadly enough, I think I've accepted it....

Had a remarkably easy return at Home Depot today. I had a receipt for most of the stuff, the rest was returned for store credit. I went in there half expecting a showdown, but they were really nice.

Mailed some packages via UPS at Staples and UPS charges are way cheaper than the post office! I'm conflicted....I like to save money, but when I send via the post office, I easily spend $10 more! I'd like to support the postal service, though.

Bless you Wendy for calling me a child! I can't beleive my reunion is next year, didn't I just have one? Darn my parents...I was accelerated a grade. If they hadnt done that, I'd have two years until my 20th! :rotfl:

I'm with M&N on the FB thing, I'm just lost on there. Its hard for me to follow the conversation, and there are about 100 extra people to watch out for. At least here, its about 12 of us (that I know of anyway....do you think we have lurkers on here with us?) and even then I can get a little confused!

I'm with you on supporting the poor Post Office. Besides we don't have those other places to mail in my little town. Hey, it's just money! ;)
I'm not sure about the lurkers here. Our TKers cannot catch up sometimes. I just don't see how we are that exciting for people to actually read us! I did think we would get someone new with out neat title! Their loss.
It is much easier with just 1 thread here to chat on instead of commenting on everyone's statement.
And I am becoming a little resentful of a certain person who tells me not to go to Farmville because I'll get hooked but yet there are posts telling how she got to another level at some cafe and has things to give away from her farm! Talk about a double standard!

NOOOOOOOO!!! Don't support the USPS! Support UPS! Go Brown!

M&N, I will also tell you NOT to do Farmville, as it is hopelessly addictive. And yes, you will see my FB posts about my crops, my animals, etc. I'm just telling you for your own good. If someone had warned me, I might not have gotten involved, and then I'd have time to go to the gym! :lmao:

Yes DL55---you are the hold out. I can ask Racer to walk you through it to set up privacy and stuff. But I really want to keep us here too. I personally think it's easier to see everyone's discussions. There you have to look under several comments. I could chat with Racer last night when we kept the same place! So I'll still chat with you here.

Burrrrr here! Mom had a covering of snow this am...nothing here---22 miles away.

I still post anything here that I want you all to know. I'm actually not even sure how to get to that TKer page over there on fb. I wouldn't trade our dis home for anything. I guess I am not a huge fb fan. It's nice and all don't get me wrong. But I feel I talk to you all way more here than the quick hello I say to people over there.

I sure haven't figured out the big draw. No one was there either...at least here I can always post on the bump or smilie thread!
I guess I'll go watch Duke play basketball...

M&N, I thought of you today. I'm potty training DD2 and her reward for going potty is M&Ms. It made me giggle.

Kerrie---That's funny...I have to be careful when I say my initials too so it doesn't sound like M&M's! Of course Racer would say you should think of Kyle Busch!

Well it's 31 now---wind chill is 20! It's to go all the way to 34 this afternoon! They are saying snow showers/flurries with maybe an inch tonight! I sub tomorrow so I'll have to listen for a delay! Just like the good old days! :teacher:
I need to get some stuff done today since I work tomorrow. I have to get some salad for lunch tomorrow too. I'm making a list for a WalMart run over the weekend.
And I cannot forget the Wii. I discovered the one where you flap your arms and float down to land on targets in the water. I did drown some! :rotfl:

I agree that it is harder to keep up w/ conversation on FB. It is much easier to talk here.

It is snowing here like crazy.

Supposed to get 8-12 inches AGAIN!!! Then some lake effect snow. Darn Lake Michigan! :headache: Driving is terrible. Windy, and cold so the salt is not working on the streets as well. Tons of accidents. God I hate WINTER!!!
Just waiting for that phone to ring and the school to have an early dismissal.

Morning! Although you can't really tell, its dark outside. It looks ominous...like its REALLY going to snow.

M&N...what's the game that you flap your arms? I so need help with my own set of "wings". I can't wear anything sleeveless...

Ooh, after reading D&D's post, I'm so not going to complain! You keep safe there in the tundra!

MagiKitty You could do the Chicken dance if you want to flap your arms. :rotfl2:

DH has done something to the computer..everything is too big. I can temporarily reduce the size though. He didn't deliberately change anything, he doesn't know why it's the wrong size. <sigh> Only the first week and he's causing problems. :confused3

My daycare provider used maraschino cherries for rewards. DD still loves them.

Kerrie, I potty trained my kids with M&Ms too! Yellow for #1, brown for #2, and 3 of any color for both! Worked like a charm and they both still LOVE M&Ms!

Took the doggie to the vet today. He's been walking into doors and furniture, falling of the edge of furniture, trying to jump on and missing, for the last 2 days. I am afraid he is losing his eyesight. The vet confirmed that something is definitely wrong with his vision. So tomorrow we see the doggie opthalmologist. I am so worried about my little guy! No wonder he seems like he's afraid of his own shadow lately.

We're supposed to get a couple inches of sn*w overnight tonite, and then just flurries tomorrow. Today it was a balmy 41, and the sun is shining bright. Doesn't look like a sn*w sky either, but who knows. Figures, I have to drive 30 min to a CPR class tonite. Ugh.

whgrn, I never thought to use different colors for what was "in" the potty. Great idea! Right now, we're finishing up the Christmas M&Ms, but I'll have to try that when they're gone. The older kids would love to help with that. :thumbsup2

I hope doggie ophthamologist is able to help. Poor puppy.

To all with freezing weather and snow, I feel for you. We could be in the teens tonight, and we're just not made for it here in Central Texas. Ya'll stay warm.

Ewww... on the color matching M&Ms. :crazy2:I will never look at them the same again. :rotfl2:

Poor doggie. I hope there is something they can do for him. Our Disney lost her hearing about a year ago. Now we have to use hand signals with her. Somehow I think losing sight would be much worse.

Goodness Kerrie - temps in the teens. My SIL must be hunkered down in the house right about now.

Kitty---I checked my Wii Fit Plus and the bird flapping is in the section that is new. I knew I should have written it down...Bird's Eye View or something like that. It's under the one where you use your hips to hit the mushrooms to add to 10 or 15.

I've never seen a doggie wearing glasses. :rotfl: I guess they can implant something like a contact??? Poor thing. I've always thought loosing your sight would be awful.

So does the kid get 1 yellow M&M for using the potty? Not much of a reward as far as I'm concerned! :rotfl: I need more!!! So I guess we all need to save up our yellow and brown M&Ms for Baby Walter. :woohoo:

Good evening! This is the 3rd place that I've posted in about 5 minutes. Phew. All this bouncing around makes me tired.

DH is watch the collage football game, Texas and Alabama. I don't think it has a team, he just likes to watch the game. Me, who cares. I'd rather watch a couple of flies going at it.

Pikester, I have the game on as well. It's Texas all the way. HOOK 'EM HORNS!!! Of course, you can see how much I'm paying attention since I'm here posting, but I still hope they win!

Back to the M&Ms, I told DH about the color idea, he thinks the kids would enjoy doing that with her, too. A great way to get them to help potty train her. :thumbsup2 DD5 has poop obsession, so she'd be more than happy to hand out brown M&Ms. Oh, and I give out several, not just one.

I know what you mean Pikester...especially with different names! :rotfl: At least I'm answering you! And I see we have Kerrie here.

I think I need to watch the football game some too. I need to get clothes together for the weekend and I work tomorrow. The weatherman is saying 1-3 in so maybe a 2 hr delay in the am! I used to just love that!

We're suppose to be getting a dusting to an inch tomorrow so school should be fine for us. I'm sure we'll get just enough to make the roads all yucky.

Evening ladies...I have emerged from the closet once again. Not quite victorious, but I'm definitely getting there, albeit rather slowly...

We're supposed to get around 3 inches of the white stuff by tomorrow, but you know that we'll get more than that....we always do.

I'm finding this M&M training conversation quite interesting. Do you find that the babies do "extra" for more chocolate?
